About: I love both dogs and cats and have been able to provide in home sitting services going back to 2020! I’m in the process of bringing home my own puppy, but in the meantime I would love to meet yours. I work full time remotely and have a flexible schedule during the day for meals, playtime and walks. I’m happy to adjust to your pets schedule completely for the entire duration of my visit. In my client’s home, I have complete respect for all rules and preferences related to your dog’s routine! My goal is to provide the most continuous care I possibly can for them while you are away. For cats, I’m extremely respectful of their space as needed, but can also cuddle and play with the ones who love it. For puppies and younger dogs, I’m knowledgeable in training best practices (always gentle, force free and positive reinforcement based) and can encourage good behaviors that you’re already working on.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 14 years and understand how much trust it takes to leave both a beloved pet and your home in someone else’s care. I have experience with dogs of different ages and personalities, including senior dogs, and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic care, and oral medications. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I know that every pet is different, so I prefer to follow the routines and rules they already know rather than suddenly changing their world while their family is away. I also have professional experience working in private residences in Manhattan, where reliability, discretion, attention to detail, and respect for someone’s home were essential. I bring that same attitude to pet sitting. When I stay in your home, I treat your space carefully and respectfully and make sure you return to it just as you left it. My schedule is currently flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention rather than simply stopping by and rushing off. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including longer house-sitting stays. I can plan my day around your pet’s usual feeding, walking, play, and rest schedule. When I’m house sitting, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and familiar as possible while you’re away. Trust is extremely important to me. When you invite me into your home, I understand that you are trusting me with two things that matter enormously to you: your pet and your personal space. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, doors and gates, sleeping arrangements, and household routines. I never introduce a pet to unfamiliar animals or take them somewhere without the owner’s permission. I also treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show in mine. My experience working in private residences has taught me the importance of discretion, cleanliness, security, and attention to detail. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos, and I will always contact you if anything seems unusual.

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. People rely on me to take care of their dogs like feed them and bathe them and play with them and walk them and make sure they’re well loved It will only be me working with the dogs, I don’t need any other assistance with other people. I do work a full-time job, but I have flexible time before or after work so I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats. The best days are Monday through Saturday, Monday - Wednesday would be in the morning and Thursday - Saturday would be in the afternoon/evening. We have a fenced in yard at our house and we like to play fetch with our dogs, especially in the nice weather. They even love the snow. We do crate train our one dog so if your dogs need to be crated, I am able to do so. Our dogs are on the schedule for their food so if your dogs are too, I understand and can follow that schedule. And we give them lots of love so your dog(s) will be loved too.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life since I grew up with them and have owned them. I currently own a shelter baby and he is super sweet. I strive to provide the best care to any and all animals. Currently working part-time as an CNA and I’m a PA student studying for boards in July. I’m very flexible to fit anyone’s needs and excited to do so. I have a dog park in my apartment complex that is massive. The apartment itself does not have a fenced in back yard but lots of room to walk around.

About: I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and was responsible for caring for them from a young age. I can take your dog on long walks or give your cat plenty of social play time. I have a few free days that I’m looking to fill by walking and dropping in on my neighbors’ pets. Now that I don’t have a dog of my own anymore, I’m looking to satisfy my pup time fix.
