About: I am an animal lover and have ample experience sitting for cats and dogs. While I have a cat of my own, I love dogs and taking care of them as well. I am currently working a part-time remote job, so I am able to check in on pets whenever needed throughout the day. I am also happy to hang out with them while I work if they tend to get lonely throughout the day! I have a cat at home who is anxious and does not get along with other pets, so while I can’t offer boarding at my own house, I am committed to giving your pets the best care possible from the comfort of their own home environment.

About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all kind and have always had the love and drive to ensure they have the best life and experiences possible. This love and compassion has led me to volunteering at the SPCA for a number of months, which turned into working there for over 4 years as both an animal care attendant and as a veterinary assistant. In my time there, I have been given the most incredible opportunity to both care for and rehouse hundreds of animals and have even acquired a couple of cats along the way. I am currently in the process of opening my own dog daycare to provide a very loving, caring environment for the dogs to spend their day while their pet parents are away.

“This was our first time hiring Deborah to stay with our dogs and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s been a mixed bag when hiring dog sitters through Rover, but with Deborah’s great reviews we took a chance and were absolutely blown away. Deborah met with us beforehand to meet us and the dogs. She asked us lots of great questions and took thorough notes as we spoke. Then she met with us again the day before to go over everything once more. About: I have two dachshund of my own! I’ve been hosting for 2 years and would love to continue to do so. Can’t wait to meet your pups! I treat my pets as a part of myself. I make sure they are accommodated. My days aren’t hectic so morning and afternoon+ night routine is established. I have a fenced yard. There’s lots of grass and space for them to run around. So freedom won’t be a problem. I make sure to keep my space free from food and anything chewable.

Eleanor was very kind and clearly cared about Gigi. Gigi seemed comfortable with her, and after a difficult first evening, the rest of the stay went smoothly and we appreciated the updates. We did have one significant issue when Gigi decided to play keep-away in our fenced yard and Eleanor wasn’t able to get her back inside. The situation continued after dark and we ultimately needed to have a friend come over to help. Once we switched to leash-only outside, everything went well for the remainder of the stay.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
