About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all kind and have always had the love and drive to ensure they have the best life and experiences possible. This love and compassion has led me to volunteering at the SPCA for a number of months, which turned into working there for over 4 years as both an animal care attendant and as a veterinary assistant. Eleanor was very kind and clearly cared about Gigi. Gigi seemed comfortable with her, and after a difficult first evening, the rest of the stay went smoothly and we appreciated the updates. We did have one significant issue when Gigi decided to play keep-away in our fenced yard and Eleanor wasn’t able to get her back inside. The situation continued after dark and we ultimately needed to have a friend come over to help. Once we switched to leash-only outside, everything went well for the remainder of the stay.
