“Monica spent four nights at our house taking care of our dogs while we traveled out of state. She checked in with us daily and was quick to respond any time we reached out. Most importantly, the dogs were happy and healthy when we returned. We would absolutely book Monica again in the future.”

“Nathan did a wonderful job looking after our three eccentric cats. We have one cat who needs meds twice a day and he had no problem dosing him. Even the shy cat came out for him! We came home to calm, happy cats! Thank you Nate!”

“Emily is AMAZING and did a fabulous job house + pup sitting while we were out of town. Her warm and caring manner instantly won our pups over and they had a wonderful weekend together. Emily’s proactive communications both before and during her stay here were very reassuring and appreciated. Can’t say enough great things and hope to use Emily many times in the future!!”

“Kacey was great with our fur babies! A senior pug and scaredy-cat kitty. She was very attentive and sent lots of updates and pics! She’s also a super nice person and you can tell she really cares about what she does! Highly recommended!”
About: Rhinebeck local with a 30 minute lunch break. Available for overnight in-home and/or dog walking services. Experience with giving oral medication. Big dogs and puppies welcome! Kitties and small animals, too! Minimal experience with reptiles (only leopard geckos) but I can watch them with care instructions. Generally I work early morning to early afternoon. No earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:00 p.m. Weekends included. My days off are usually Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. There are some exceptions as my schedule varies week to week. But I can and frequently do work around customers' schedules, especially with advanced notice! I am diligent in keeping an eye on animals in the home. Especially puppies/potty training animals. When we are out taking a walk (for dogs) I will cross to the other side of the street and not greet other dogs, even if yours is friendly. Better to be safe than sorry! Same goes for dog parks. We can go, but I will keep a close eye on any animals and leave if things get too hot.
About: I've taken care of many different types of dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. As a teenager, I loved taking our family dog (a black Boxador) to her weekly puppy training classes and watching neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away. As an adult, I've been hired to dog-sit, cat-sit and house-sit for family friends and teachers. I spent the past year living with a rambunctious German shepherd and wrangling her on walks in Denver. I absolutely love long walks, playing fetch, or just cuddling with dogs. I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look like 2 weeks in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, and bathing in the mornings or during the day while you're at work! I am also potentially open to boarding cats in my apartment if they do well with other cats. I have a calm, quiet 7yo cat named Hobbes, and my roommate has a rambunctious, playful, and friendly 2yo cat named Rue. Both have lived with multiple other cats before. We have 3 litter boxes in the house, lots of fun toys, many windows, space to explore, and a large cat tower.
“Thank you Janice...! You are the best. We appreciate you being available with such short notice. We left you with 2 crazy dogs only to return with both sleeping on each side of you..So glad we found you..! Thank you! Jeanne and Craig”

“Karla is a gentle and kind animal whisperer. Our pup was immediately calmed by her energy. From his daily med routine, to even feeding him by hand when he put up a “my humans are traveling fight” she cared for him with grace and love. AND we got daily pics.”

“Elanor took great care of Dax! She has a great dog park and took him on a few walks, and sent photos throughout the visit reassuring me he was doing great. Will definitely book again so Dax can spend time with his new abuela!”

“I can't say enough about my experience with Cassandra! She was amazing with Antonio, kept him busy and happy. We received many pictures and videos which made our trip so much better knowing he was happy! I would recommend Cassandra to anyone looking to have a reliable, loving and competent dog sitter. Cassandra stayed at the house while we were gone and left things immaculate! We will be using her for our next trip. Thank you”

“Our experience with Bryson was great. He was on time, and communicated about our dogs. Our home was left just as we left it. He even got some great photos of all 3 of them sitting and looking at the camera at the same time which is hard to do. Would definitely use Bryson again!”
“Colleen is a gem. A total pro- lovely, easy going, compassionate, professional, and she clearly bonded with my kitty after just one visit. She’s a pleasure and we will most definitely entrust our cat, and our home, with her in the future!”

“Daniela took wonderful care of our pup while we were out of town for a week, providing lots of love, attention, and plenty of good walks. Daniela updated us daily and capably managed a small bout of vomiting that our dog had (did not see any red flag symptoms and provided her with a bland diet). Would love to her take care of Phoebe again.”

“This was our first time hiring Deborah to stay with our dogs and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s been a mixed bag when hiring dog sitters through Rover, but with Deborah’s great reviews we took a chance and were absolutely blown away. Deborah met with us beforehand to meet us and the dogs. She asked us lots of great questions and took thorough notes as we spoke. Then she met with us again the day before to go over everything once more. Her thoroughness and willingness to make sure our dogs were well cared for made us confident leaving them in her care. She sent us regular updates and photos while we were away and it was clear our dogs were very comfortable with her. She took them on walks multiple times a day, and was so attentive to their needs, making sure their schedule remained similar to how it is when we’re home. Then, upon our return, our house was just how we left it (maybe even a little cleaner!) and our dogs were so happy. Deciding to travel is hard for us because it’s so tough to find a good dog sitter, but we’re excited (and I know the dogs are as well) for the next time we have a trip so we can rehire Deborah. We were truly able to relax knowing our dogs were in her care!”

“Kira provided excellent care for my elderly cat! She went above and beyond to make sure the cat had all that she needed, sent super cute photos, and left my home neat and orderly with some much appreciated extra touches.”
About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. After spending over 25years taking care of children I decided why not take care of pets? I retired from the classroom in June and ready to take care of your animals. Just no SNAKES. My schedule is extremely flexible. Retired! After taking care of the special education population for 25 years, I am excited to take care of pets. I feel it is important for the pets to keep their routine and have a consistent schedule. I love your pets like I love my own.
