About: I have experience with all types of cats and dogs and critters. I not only work as a pet sitter, but I was an independent rescuer and as a Spay-Neuter advocate for the ASPCA in NYC as well. I can administer fluids and medications (provided the cat isn't feral) and I have experience caring for elderly animals and pets with disabilities. I'm guaranteed reliable, flexible, patient, and kind, and I would care for your babes as I do my own. Part of being a good pet sitter is sensing what the cat and dog need, whether it means extra pets and playtime, or to be given space. i want your pet to be happy and cared for. i love all animals and their happiness, safety and well-being mean everything to me. As a part-time freelancer, pet sitting works well with my schedule. I'm available 7am to 9pm in most cases. I am not available for overnights, but I can help with extended long-term daily stays. Cats and dogs deserve exercise, playtime, fresh meals, clean water, and affection. I will never allow a cat outside or a dog off his or her leash unless requested. You can rely on me to lock the door and keep your pet and home safe while you are away.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life - from family pets, to pets of my own. I love all animals. We do not deserve them, but I do my best to earn their love every day. I truly enjoy providing them with all the love and safety they need. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. I cared for my sweet German Shorthaired Pointer (Hunter), who had cancer. Now I shower my young Aussie Mountain Doodle puppy (Selena) with love every day, teaching her to learn and grow, and brushing her constantly so her doodle fur does not get matted and she stays looking beautiful. I have fully potty trained her, she has learned a few commands, and with my guidance, she is getting better and better at walking on her leash. I also have two amazing senior kitties (Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin). They make me smile everyday. They are 14 years young, so they have started to have some slight health decline (cataracts, arthritis, hyperthyroidism), so I have gotten better and better at senior cat care. One of my kitties requires a pill twice a day, so I am an expert at administering pills to cats as well. I am also very good about making sure they have the freshest litter and litter boxes. I even house their litter boxes in special enclosures to give them privacy and a place of their own to do their business. From caring for my own pets, to feeding the squirrels and birds in my backyard, to rescuing stray cats - my love for animals knows no bounds. All animals deserve love, and I promise to care for you pets as if they were my own ❤️ I work full-time for a non-profit, but I work from home 3 days a week and only go into the office 2 times a week. This means I have some flexibility in my schedule on week days. On weekends I am wide open! At my home, I have a routine with my animals. They are fed right around the same times everyday, they are given fresh water twice a day, my one cat gets his medicine at the same time twice a day, and they all get a lot of pets and some treats daily as well. My puppy gets at least 2 walks a day, some swim time if the weather is nice, and A LOT of play time with her many toys every day. My cats do not like to play much now that they are older, but I do my best to keep them active with the few toys they show interest in. I have also converted my back porch into an enclosed catio in order to fulfill their dreams of being outdoor cats! In your home, I would utilize my stellar attention to detail in order to carefully follow your guidance. That way I can keep your pet(s) on their usual routine as much as possible so that they are as comfortable and feel as safe as possible. I am also a wonderful and thorough communicator, so I would ensure you were fully aware of everything so that you can feel comfortable as well.

About: Hello! My partner and I have dog-sat for friends many times, but the request doesn’t come frequently enough! We’re happy to host your pet and treat it as if it were our own. We work nearby our apartment and can walk your dog during the day. We are fine with pets on our furniture and in our bed, but will respect any training you have in place. We’ll joyfully take your pet on long walks and adhere to feeding schedules. I have trained my family dogs in the past, and are happy to teach your pup a few new tricks! We ask for well-behaved, house-trained dogs OR crate-trained provided you have a crate. We’ll adore your pet completely while you’re away with all the attention you would provide to be sure it doesn’t get too lonely without you! Generally, most of the dogs we sit are walked 2-4 times a day and fed twice. We have a spacious and secure 2 bedroom aparment and are generally home all week, with lots of lounging around on the weekends as well. We always prioritize your pet’s needs above all else and will comply with their typical schedule.

Since I am retired, I am able to tend to your pets needs 24/7. I have a very flexible schedule and I am a very active person that will take your dog out for many walks. I live in a spacious condo alone, and do not have any pets. My complex has a dog park which is maintained and kept clean if approved by you. Your pet will receive top notch service under my care.
