About: I grew up around dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs, including Pip, whom I’ve watched since he was a puppy, and Martha, a more senior dog. I’ve handled walking, feeding, playtime, and just generally making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’m very responsible and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I take that responsibility seriously and treat every dog as if they were my own. It means a lot to me to be given the opportunity to care for your furry friend. : ) I’m in university at the moment, so my schedule is pretty open. If there’s a particular time that you’re looking for, feel free to let me know and we can work something out! I live in a single on campus, with a decently sized room for any small or medium sized doggies, and there is a fenced in track behind my building/apartment if they wanna just run around with me for a while.

About: I took animal science at port ewen boces throughout my junior and senior year of highschool. I've learned pet care, restraints, handling and grooming. I've always had a love for animals especially dogs! Pet care fits into my daily routine because i have three dogs at home that i walk and feed everyday. day. I am very comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, exercise, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am confident handling both small and large dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and proper control when working with them. 🐾 When caring for pets, I always make safety a priority. About: I have taken care of all dogs and cats for years. In 2025 I gained my training and worked as a Kennel Technician at the HoundsTown franchise. On the side, whether its neighbors who go away for extended vacations, or dog walking within apartment buildings in New York and Central Park, this has always been a job in my life. This included grooming, feeding, administering medication, playing & exploring, keeping them company, training them around other dogs, and many other tasks. I love being outside and taking care of such sweet animals, I would love to care for your critter! I work in Social Work locally. About: I grew up with dogs, a cat, gerbil, fish, and even a rescue squirrel. I have been pet sitting for a few years and just love it. I take care of all breeds, ages, and size dogs as well as cats and other traditional pets. I can administer oral meds and ointments. While I am not a trainer, I do everything I can to reinforce any training they have or are undergoing. I am a full time pet sitter. I occasionally do some consulting but that is all WFH. I am flexible and don't have any day restrictions. While I am open to boarding and some dog walking, I typically do pet sitting in your house and drop-ins while people are out of town. My goal is to keep consistency for your animals. I ask questions to understand what they are allowed and not allowed to do, eat, etc. and I stick to it. I believe pets are a member of your family, not just some animal. I will do everything I can to create a safe environment for them. I will also take their lead. If they want pets, they will get it. If they are more standoffish, I won't force contact. Their well being is my #1 priority. You will find I am very communicative, and provide updates how and when you would like. While my 1st priority is their safety, my second, is providing you will peace of mind, so you can fully enjoy your time away.

About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.

About: I've owned a small dogwalking/pet sitting business since 1999. I(Maria) am CPDT-KA certified in dog training as well. I've worked with all breeds of dogs, ages with many different dispositions. My husband & I moved from Brooklyn(where we had our biz since 2006) to New Paltz this summer. The very limited boarding means your dogs stay with our family, always supervised & leashed outside. We have many dogs beds but can bring your own.
