The safety of your pets and the security of your home are my top priorities whether I’m dropping in for visits while you’re out of town or taking your pup for a daily walk while you’re away at the office. With over a decade of experience caring for dogs, cats, turtles and every thing in between, you can trust me to bring real-world animal care experience into your home. For your peace of mind (and mine!) I’m always vigilant of my surroundings, double check doors and locks and triple secure collars, leashes and harnesses. I’m a stickler for detail and will follow your care instructions to a T.

The daily reports were always so detailed and included a ton of photos, which was much appreciated. I really felt that our kitties were not just watched, but cared for. Grettel was amazing! Where to even begin… one of my dogs has fear-based reactivity to strangers so hiring a walker was a leap of faith to begin with. As predicted, he barked and barked at her but she took the time to respect his cues, wait for him to settle, and earn his trust. Any other walker could have turned right around because he was a “difficult dog,” but she was not discouraged! Not only was Grettel a great sport, she was kind, confident and caring, which made me feel like I had made the right choice for my dog. She was also on time, responsive, and always sent multiple photos and videos from her visits. Thanks Grettel!!
Grettel was wonderful with our two dogs! It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone new and I could just tell she was so well taken care of. Grettel sent tons of videos and updates. Will be booking again!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule so you’re in luck! I’m available early morning through evenings Monday-Friday (and the occasional weekend and holidays) for walks, drop-in visits and overnight care in your home.

- I have no breed restrictions—As the former owner of a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier (RIP Junebug!) I know traits like gentleness, sweetness and tractability come in every package. I judge every animal as a unique individual. What I’ll need to know is if your animal has any existing health conditions or diet or activity restrictions that need special attention (i.e. needs medication, has a sensitive stomach so no treats, recent tendon tear or recent surgery and shouldn’t jump up on furniture, is vision or hearing impaired, is heat intolerant, etc.) or any tendencies, anxieties or aggression triggers I should be mindful of (i.e. pulls on leash, is dog aggressive, has a high prey drive around squirrels, a fear of children, resource guards, escape history, etc.). The more information you can share with upfront, the better 🐶
