About: I have taken care of all dogs and cats for years. In 2025 I gained my training and worked as a Kennel Technician at the HoundsTown franchise. On the side, whether its neighbors who go away for extended vacations, or dog walking within apartment buildings in New York and Central Park, this has always been a job in my life. This included grooming, feeding, administering medication, playing & exploring, keeping them company, training them around other dogs, and many other tasks. I love being outside and taking care of such sweet animals, I would love to care for your critter! I work in Social Work locally. I only work 28 hours a week as of right now and work mostly from home. I am available. In my own home I only have one cat. She has constant food, water, and attention. She loves to play and cuddle. Your pet will receive the same exact treatment as all animals are special to me.

About: I grew up around dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs, including Pip, whom I’ve watched since he was a puppy, and Martha, a more senior dog. I’ve handled walking, feeding, playtime, and just generally making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’m very responsible and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I take that responsibility seriously and treat every dog as if they were my own. It means a lot to me to be given the opportunity to care for your furry friend. : ) I’m in university at the moment, so my schedule is pretty open. If there’s a particular time that you’re looking for, feel free to let me know and we can work something out! I live in a single on campus, with a decently sized room for any small or medium sized doggies, and there is a fenced in track behind my building/apartment if they wanna just run around with me for a while.

I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life - from family pets, to pets of my own. I love all animals. We do not deserve them, but I do my best to earn their love every day. I truly enjoy providing them with all the love and safety they need. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. I cared for my sweet German Shorthaired Pointer (Hunter), who had cancer. Now I shower my young Aussie Mountain Doodle puppy (Selena) with love every day, teaching her to learn and grow, and brushing her constantly so her doodle fur does not get matted and she stays looking beautiful. I have fully potty trained her, she has learned a few commands, and with my guidance, she is getting better and better at walking on her leash. I also have two amazing senior kitties (Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin). They make me smile everyday. They are 14 years young, so they have started to have some slight health decline (cataracts, arthritis, hyperthyroidism), so I have gotten better and better at senior cat care. One of my kitties requires a pill twice a day, so I am an expert at administering pills to cats as well. I am also very good about making sure they have the freshest litter and litter boxes. I even house their litter boxes in special enclosures to give them privacy and a place of their own to do their business. From caring for my own pets, to feeding the squirrels and birds in my backyard, to rescuing stray cats - my love for animals knows no bounds. All animals deserve love, and I promise to care for you pets as if they were my own ❤️ I work full-time for a non-profit, but I work from home 3 days a week and only go into the office 2 times a week. This means I have some flexibility in my schedule on week days. On weekends I am wide open! At my home, I have a routine with my animals. They are fed right around the same times everyday, they are given fresh water twice a day, my one cat gets his medicine at the same time twice a day, and they all get a lot of pets and some treats daily as well. My puppy gets at least 2 walks a day, some swim time if the weather is nice, and A LOT of play time with her many toys every day. My cats do not like to play much now that they are older, but I do my best to keep them active with the few toys they show interest in. I have also converted my back porch into an enclosed catio in order to fulfill their dreams of being outdoor cats! In your home, I would utilize my stellar attention to detail in order to carefully follow your guidance. That way I can keep your pet(s) on their usual routine as much as possible so that they are as comfortable and feel as safe as possible. I am also a wonderful and thorough communicator, so I would ensure you were fully aware of everything so that you can feel comfortable as well.

I've worked with all breeds of dogs, ages with many different dispositions. My husband & I moved from Brooklyn(where we had our biz since 2006) to New Paltz this summer. We are continuing to do personal & very limited boarding in our new home. I(Maria) am also offering private training sessions(in your home) . I specialize in puppy or newly adopted pups/dogs. Doggie care is part of my daily routine. I have 2 dogs of my own, both less energy less days, but still enjoy getting their walks & sniffs in. The very limited boarding means your dogs stay with our family, always supervised & leashed outside. We have many dogs beds but can bring your own.
