About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my life since I was a baby. I have experience with many type of dog breeds from Shepherds, Dobermans, Keeshonds, Malamutes, Golden Retrievers, Labrador retrievers, beagles, etc. Dogs have always been part of my family and my everyday life. I am a mommy to two Keeshonds, Cuda and Chili, who are twins - fraternal twins. They will be 8 years old in November. Having dogs all my life has taught me that every dog has their own personality, needs, routines, quirks, and a way of communicating. I pay attention to those little things. When your dog is in my care, I want you to feel the same thing I feel when someone cares for mine: "My dog is safe. My dog is loved. My dog is in good hands." I have hands-on experience with everyday responsibilities that come with caring for dogs, including giving oral medication. I give both my dogs medication. I understand medication isn't something to casually overlook-it requires attention, consistency, and responsibility. I also have experience taking care of dogs who have anxiety (as my Cuda has that) and senior dogs (that need extra attention) I don't want to simply "walk your dog." I want to get to know your dog: their personality, routines, what makes them comfortable, what makes them nervous, their favorite things, and most importantly, what makes them feel safe. I believe pets deserve love, care, patience, kindness, and individual attention - whether I'm taking them for a walk, spending time with them in your home, or simply making sure they're comfortable while you're away. It usually takes a few hours for Max to warm up to men, if at all, but Spencer had no problem at all earning Max's trust. Spencer has also watched my 2 cats, one of which (Bella) was very elderly and had complex health needs. Bella required constant care- including that she had chewing fatigue and would only eat her food in a specific way, which Spencer made for her (pureed boiled chicken with chicken broth).
