Caring for your pet like my own
I have always had a deep love for animals and have taken care of a variety of breeds of dogs and cats with a deep understanding of their body language. I had the pleasure of learning a great deal from a licensed dog trainer in Upstate New York who owned a pet store and boarding area for domestic animals, but also had a section where he would rehabilitate wild animals if that was needed. I loved spending time with the animals and watching him perform the training sessions. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats and will make their time with me fun, safe and comfortable while you're away or working for your piece of mind. I enjoy watching the relationship grow stronger over time, and the level of trust and comfort that comes along from it. I have experience with elderly dogs that require scheduled medicine and extra care to puppies that need trained basic skills and socializing skills. My family of animals through the years consisted of a wide range of different breeds of dogs and cats from Rottweilers, Basset hounds, Border Collies and German shepherds.

I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own, my time with them is about them and their needs. I will replicate and stick to their daily routine, as well as any special instructions you may have so he or she will feel at ease.

We have been booking with Tara for almost a year now when we travel and she is the best! She is so loving to our cats and was even able to help us out with an extra unplanned visit when our flight home was cancelled this weekend. Just got home from a trip visiting my family out of state. While we were there, we told them how our dog sitter is the best and our dogs don’t even miss us when we are gone because of her. She provides me the updates and my peace of mind!

Tara was absolutely amazing! The communication leading up to the stay and throughout the stay was incredible. I received updates and pictures throughout the stay, which made leaving my pup stress free. My 1 year old black lab/hound mix absolutely adored Tara, and was treated like her own. Schedule
I am available any day you may need during the week and weekend. My schedule consists of 9 weekly clients; dog walks, drop in visits, between the hours of 12 -3 so anytime before or after is preferable.
