Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday life! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m home often and can easily build my day around the pets I’m caring for. Whether it's morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening routines, I love creating a rhythm that matches each pet’s needs. Since I already care for my own dogs and cat daily, adding extra walks, snuggles, or playtime for clients’ pets feels like second nature — and always a joy!

A typical day
It all depends on the pet’s personality! For high-energy pups, I love going on long walks, nature hikes/walks, playing fetch, visiting parks, or having structured play sessions. For older or more mellow pets, I’m happy to provide cozy cuddle time, gentle strolls, or enrichment games like treat puzzles or scent tracking. I also enjoy capturing fun, candid pet photos during our time together (with your permission, of course!) so you can see all the happy moments while you’re away.

Hi! I’m Sarah — a lifelong animal lover currently based in Fairfield County, CT. I currently work remotely, which means my schedule is super flexible — I’m available when you need me, whether it’s for daily walks, weekend stays, or last-minute drop-ins. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life — dogs, cats, horses, goats… you name it. Today, I share my home with two dogs and one very confident cat (who’s pretty sure she’s a dog too). Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds — from Border Collies, Shepards, Labs and Pit Bulls to Bulldogs, Hounds, and Chow Chows — each with their own personality, preferences, and needs. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special diets, health conditions, mobility challenges, and unique temperaments. Sarah was great taking care of my 2 cats. I also had an unexpected family emergency and she was able to do a few extra visits last minute. She was truly a lifesaver when I was dealing with a difficult time and I’m very grateful for her kindness and flexibility to ensure my cats were taken care of.

Sarah did a great job caring for our two cats! She was responsive to texts and requests and we loved seeing the pictures of them while we were away. Sarah was also great with giving one of our cats his medicine. We would hire her again!
