“Kendall was awesome and did a great job of housesitting my 2 dogs - one is a 17 yr old senior and one is in house training mode. She kept me up to date several times a day and followed the schedule I left for her. I recommend her for a quick walk or over night stays! She is very sweet too.”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah — a lifelong animal lover currently based in Fairfield County, CT. I currently work remotely, which means my schedule is super flexible — I’m available when you need me, whether it’s for daily walks, weekend stays, or last-minute drop-ins. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life — dogs, cats, horses, goats… you name it. Today, I share my home with two dogs and one very confident cat (who’s pretty sure she’s a dog too). Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds — from Border Collies, Shepards, Labs and Pit Bulls to Bulldogs, Hounds, and Chow Chows — each with their own personality, preferences, and needs. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special diets, health conditions, mobility challenges, and unique temperaments. Some highlights of my experience: • Multi-pet household care • Senior & special needs animal support • Emotional Support Animal (ESA) training experience • Familiar with natural remedies & holistic approaches • Maker of custom, all-natural dog treats • Professional pet photographer — your furry friend will get plenty of cute candids! Whether your pet needs a cozy companion while you’re away or an active buddy for long walks and playtime, I’ll show up with kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care. I treat every animal as if they’re my own — because I know how important it is to feel peace of mind when someone else is looking after your beloved companion. I’d love to meet you and your pet(s) — let’s chat and see if it’s a good fit! — Sarah 🐾 Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday life! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m home often and can easily build my day around the pets I’m caring for. Whether it's morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening routines, I love creating a rhythm that matches each pet’s needs. Since I already care for my own dogs and cat daily, adding extra walks, snuggles, or playtime for clients’ pets feels like second nature — and always a joy! In a client’s home, I strive to maintain the routines and environment your pet is most comfortable with — whether that means sticking to preferred walking paths, specific mealtime rituals, or favorite nap spots. I follow feeding routines, administer medication or supplements if needed, and make sure each pet receives individual attention and care. I’m mindful, clean, respectful of your space, and always leave things as I found them (if not better!).
“Patricia was wonderful from the very first contact! She was willing to help us with everything, and we had a peaceful trip thanks to the way she cared for our dog, Milo. we were able to relax knowing he was in good hands. Patricia is definitely a kind and lovely person, and our dog loved being around her. His anxiety was much better, and we felt much more at ease.”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life! Even had the opportunity to nurse puppies as little as 2 weeks old. I'm patient and nurturing when it comes to dogs that just need a bit more attention. I will also adhere to the requests of each owner. Our dogs are considered family and should be treated with kindness and respect. To each pet owner I will treat your dog like it's my own. I will be able to cater to the needs of your dog as well as inform you in a timely manner of each visit how everything went. I understand how frustrating it is to leave your dog home for long period of time. However, you won't need to worry they are in good hands! I am off from my full time 3 days a week. Therefore, I’m open to dropping in when needed during the day or evening. Sunday- Tuesday. As someone who has cared for different breeds from dachshunds, pit bulls, and even Dobermans. I have learned so much regarding dog behaviors, temperaments, and how to respond to each dogs unique needs.
“Jeffrey takes great care of our pup, Tia. We used him for visits and walks prior to our most recent week vacation. We recently went away for a week and Jeffrey stayed at our home. He followed any/all directions we had left for our dog and kept us in the loop daily when we checked in. We trust him to stay in our home and take great care of our dog. Our dog is typically anxious and when we got home from our trip, we saw that Tia ate very well while we were gone which is sometimes a struggle when we leave her. We were very happy with her care. We look forward to continuing to use Jeffrey for future trips and daily walks.”

“We recently had the pleasure of having Sandra house sit and care for our dog Simba and we couldn’t be more impressed! From the very beginning, Sandra was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, asking plenty of detailed questions to make sure Simba’s routine and needs were fully understood. What truly amazed us was how quickly she bonded with Simba. He’s a Korean Jindo, a breed known for being cautious around strangers, but Sandra clearly has a special way with animals. Within the first day, Simba was not only comfortable with her but actually playing and following her around like they’d known each other for years! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Sandra kept our home tidy, stayed communicative, and treated Simba like her own. She’s reliable, warm, and clearly loves what she does. Sandra is officially our go-to sitter from now on — highly, highly recommend!”

“Leaving our dog Molly with Adam was like leaving her with a family member. Our dog could not have gotten better care. He sent updates and pictures every day and it made us feel our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend. Will definitely use Adam in the future.”

About: I have experience with all dogs sizes, especially large breeds. I watched my childhood dogs go from puppies to seniors. From this, I’m able to administer medicine. I currently work from home remotely, so it is very flexible for me. With my current houses, I am able to bring my laptop and work there to allow no interruptions into your pet’s daily routine I care for your pets as if they were my own. When I’m in your home, I tried to make it as if I was never there to allow you to feel fully relaxed up upon coming home from your time away.
About: Hi there! I’m a loving and adventurous dog sitter who believes every pup deserves care, attention, and a good dose of playtime. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so I know firsthand how much love (and patience!) goes into building that unbreakable bond through experience. As someone who loves being outdoors, you’ll often find me exploring nature trails, parks, and neighborhoods — always with a furry friend by my side. I love to keep myself fit & healthy so your pup can expect quality walks full of fresh air, exercise, and plenty of tail wags & sniffs! I enjoy connecting with families from all walks of life and truly value building trusting, long-term relationships so if you’re looking for consistent exercise and a loyal best friend for your fur babies, I’m your girl! As of right now, I am pretty booked but have limited availability. I'd love to fit another 1-3 dogs in my schedule consistently, or if you need any drop ins, I'm usually pretty flexible. Feel free to shoot me a message! Aside from a quality walk, sunshine, fresh air and play time, I always ensure they’re taken care of with food, water, meds (if needed) and any requests the owner has I can help with.

“Our pup was in great spirits when we arrived home - Alex did a fantastic job caring for our older pup in our home and we have already reached out to Alex with additional pet sitting requests.”

“Jillian was great! She was quick to reach and easy to work with. Came to meet and greet with our girls(Sadie and Minnie). Kept lines of communication open at all times. It was a great relief to know our pets were home being well cared for and safe! 10/10 recommend!”

“Ian's first housesitting with Carson went very well. He was dedicated to Carson's health and safety especially since there were unexpected thunderstorms. Ian comforted Carson throughout the day and night with lots of care, hugs and belly rubs. Ian was in communication each day and sent pictures as well. Carson had an added play date with Hailey too. Ian was respectful in our home and left it clean. All great qualities when someone is caring for your pet and staying in your home.”

“Marcella is a fantastic dog sitter. She is punctual and dependable, and also affectionate and playful with my very active dogs. She also came up with ideas to keep my dogs busy and entertained. She doubled up as a pet and house sitter, and we felt we left everything in very competent hands. We highly recommend her!”

“Tara is great! We have used her twice now and hopefully she will always be available when i go out of town going forward. My dog loves her so much and misses her once she’s gone. She provides many updates and photos. It’s nice to have someone at home that I can trust and that my pets trust too!”

About: I have over four years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. My responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, playtime, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am attentive to each pet’s unique needs and routines I’m currently working part time as a babysitter, but I’m looking for a part time who covers my university necessities, I’m normally available in the mornings and afternoons and weekends all day I provide attentive and loving care for pets in both my home and my clients’ homes. For dogs, this includes daily walks, playtime, feeding according to their routine, administering any medications if needed, and lots of affection to make them feel comfortable and happy. For cats, I ensure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and engaging playtime while respecting their personal space. About: Dogs thrive on calm structure, and that’s exactly what I provide. I’m a certified sitter with 30+ years of hands-on experience and currently enrolled in an accredited, science based dog training program. I specialize in dogs who need a little extra help...anxious pups, first time boarders, high energy dogs, and dogs who get overwhelmed in new environments. I’m patient, observant, and focused on helping them feel safe, understood, and supported instead of just “tired out.” Your dog won’t be lost in a crowded, chaotic “yard free-for-all.” I host a low number of dogs at once so I can actually watch body language, manage energy, and keep routines consistent. Each dog gets individualized attention and a calm environment where they can settle and feel at home. Pet care is my full-time work, so your dog’s routine becomes my routine. Meals, walks, enrichment, rest, and any training cues you already use are followed consistently. Keeping things predictable helps dogs...especially anxious or reactive ones settle in fast and stay comfortable. My home is structured, supervised, and calm...not a pack play setup or unsupervised backyard chaos. Dogs get proper introductions, clear boundaries, and a predictable routine so they feel secure. I tailor the environment to each dog: decompression time, quiet areas, supervised social time only when appropriate, and no forced interactions. Dogs are always supervised, with thoughtful structure designed to prevent overstimulation or unsafe situations. Every dog is treated like a family member, not part of a random pack.

Hawleyville pet parents share their Rover experiences
So was so amazing and patient with our two little rascals. One of our dogs is in the middle.of a neurological evaluation and Sophie was so good with him, so sweet and understanding. She gave us daily updates with lots of pictures and we came home to two very happy and well taken care of little boys as well as a spotless house. Would 100% recommend and book again!!

Larissa was absolutely wonderful! She stayed at our house with Duke and Tucker for a few days, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, she was communicative, responsible, and clearly a true dog lover. She sent regular updates and photos, which made it so easy to relax knowing our boys were happy and well cared for. When we came home, the house was spotless and the dogs were calm, content, and clearly adored her. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with both your pets and your home—but Larissa is definitely that person. We’ll be booking her again without hesitation!

Our 1 year old English Bulldog Jack just came home from a 1 month board and train so we were very nervous about finding a dog sitter who could keep up with enforcing his newly learned commands. After meeting Rachel we knew Jack would be in great hands and wouldn’t regress at all with his training. Rachel stayed in our home for 5 nights and took amazing care of him - from cuddles on the couch to socializing him! We got plenty of pictures and felt at ease the entire time we were away! We will definitely be using Rachel again and we don’t doubt that Jack is looking forward to spending time with Rachel again!

We were very fortunate to find Julie at the last minute to stay overnight with our pup. This was the first time in the two years we have had him that we found ourselves without a close friend or family member to care for him while we were away. Julie was quick to respond to our request and even made the time to stop by and meet us prior to us leaving. While we were away, she provided updates and pictures which definitely help put our minds at ease. When we arrived home it was evident that Finn was well taken care of. Not one sign of any anxious behaviors and when we arrived home he was of course happy to see us but was also very calm and relaxed which to me is a sign that he was not stressed or nervous while we were away. We will most definitely be using Julie again!!!
