I have access to many walking trails and outdoors spaces to exercise and entertain your pup. My house is suitable for dogs who are mischievous (as is mine), whereas there is little for them to get into. I will pay close attention to any information or requests you have when you book. About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.

About: I recently moved to Poughkeepsie from the city so now the adventure I provide is different than before. I believe in building trust between the owners a well as their pets. I like to take the dogs on adventures from a simple walk , the dog park and even car rides. I treat every animal under my care as part of the family and with my experience, the dogs are brought back. Using Rover and meeting new families allows my dogs to have companion for a few days as well. My family and I learn about different breeds as well. As a family, we do this together because the animals become part of our life. Every dog is a new experience to have fun with and enjoy. Sometimes it is hard to leave one's dog with someone they have not meet and I have always made it a point to provide a sense of security and trust. I recently went back to work but my family loves dogs and we provide a second home where the dogs and owners are comfortable with us. This is not a me thing only. My family are part of the care of the dogs. The family takes care of our own dogs so why not share in the same responsibility for someone's else dog. I have a fenced yard and I try my best to keep the same schedule in my house as the dogs have in their own home.

“I was really nervous I never left Angel with anyone before that I didn’t know or wasn’t family. I really recommend and appreciated the updates from Mario! Thank you again!”

About: I have had a dog growing up my whole life. I currently do not have any pets of my own but I watch my families pets. I love to have the company of pets and treating them like my own. I am a teacher working full time. I am able to come home during the day to take pets for walks. I get home in the afternoon and am home for the night. I am in it out of the house throughout the day to care for your animal. I get home early in the day and will hang out with your pet all night.

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for them at every life stage from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Until recently, I always had a dog of my own, and their companionship taught me how to truly understand their needs. Whether a pup needs extra playtime, a cozy nap spot, or just a little extra attention, I know how to adjust the routine to make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and loved. Since last summer, I’ve been running a doggy daycare and have had the joy of boarding dogs for weeks at a time. I treat every dog like family and pride myself on creating a calm, fun, and caring environment. My clients know they can count on me to be attentive, responsible, and communicative. I love sending photo and video updates so you never feel too far from your pet. Whether you're looking for daycare or long-term boarding, your dog will be in loving hands with me! I am currently taking dogs full-time and can adjust my routines and schedules to accommodate clients and their individual needs. Message me if you have questions about the days you need and I'd be happy to work something out! At my home, dogs are free to move between the indoors and my fully fenced yard, giving them the chance to play, relax, or explore as they please in a secure environment. Inside, I make sure every dog feels right at home. They’re welcome on the furniture, can find their favorite cozy spot, and are treated like part of the family. If you prefer your dog to be crated for rest or sleep, I’m happy to accommodate that too! Some days I may have multiple dogs here, and other times your dog may be my only guest—either way, they’ll receive plenty of attention, care, and a safe environment that fits their comfort level. I treat every pup like family, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. Before introducing new dogs into the group, I always take time to assess each dog's temperament. I observe how they respond to new environments, other dogs, and different types of stimuli. This helps me tailor care to their needs and ensure a safe and positive experience.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, I treat every pet like family. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I tailor my approach to fit each pet’s needs—whether that means playtime, training reinforcement, medication schedules, or just plenty of snuggles. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and their people. What sets me apart is my calm energy and attention to detail—I notice the little things that keep pets happy and safe. I currently am a cleaner part time. Pet care has always been a second nature to me growing up with pets. I love taking care of pets and your needs. I used to walk my dog around my neighborhood sometimes to the river If it’s really nice out just get her some fresh air. Proper feeding times and bathroom breaks.
