About: I have had a life long love of animals and have grown up with cats and dogs. In addition I am a long standing volunteer at the SFSPCA, and am trained in dog and cat care. If your pet is shy or out going I know exactly how to work with them. I am a college student with a fairly flexible schedule. As junior my course load is predictable therefor I can work with you to find a convenient care schedule. I am available to walk dogs or care for cats at your home. I have a car and can reliably get to you. When we first meet I would love to spend a little time with your pet and learn your routine in order to make them as comfortable as possible. If you are traveling for an extended period I will gladly send you pictures and keep you posted on what is going on.

My dog was having a skin allergy flare up and Meghan was great with taking care of her and keeping me informed every single day with a friendly update on her skin status and photos of my dog looking relaxed, happy, and playful. Meghan was also respectful of my space while staying here and left the everything very clean and looked after, just as she left my dog in excellent shape! About: Hi there! My name is Kendra. I come with 12+ years of veterinary technician experience. I currently work as a CVT in a veterinary ICU. I am happy to provide care to pets who may need additional TLC, such as senior or special needs pets. Outside of work, I have two cats (Autumn & Creme Brulee) and two dogs. Violet is my mini doodle who I adopted after she was found to have a swallowing disorder, and Emmie Lou is my Australian Shepherd who loves to live her life on the wild side. We love going for walks, long hikes, and various training events like lure courses, agility and dock diving. Both of my girls have earned their CGC (Canine Good Citizens) among other ribbons and sport titles. Loving animals is my whole life and I can't wait to love your fur babies too! 💗 I am available to do drop-in visits (short walks, feeding, play time, medication administration, etc.), or longer walks/hikes for those that may need the extra exercise. I am also available for house sitting upon request. I schedule pet care on my days off from my full-time job. I can also provide house sitting upon request (availability will not routinely be posted for this so feel free to send me a message!). Unfortunately, due to renting I cannot provide pet care in my own home. I can do drop-in visits or longer term house sitting in your home, which I would prefer anyway as I feel pets are usually the most comfortable in their own homes. When walking any dogs outside of a fenced in yard, I will always implement the use of double leashes for added safety.

About: I’ve cared for animals most of my life, including regularly volunteering at local shelters and caring for two dogs and three cats of my own. I absolutely love spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I’m an active person and would be happy to take your dog on long, fun, and enriching walks, but I also love relaxing with pets, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’ve cared for up to three dogs at once and am comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m also happy to accommodate special needs, including medications, special diets, and specific care instructions. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and give them the same patience, care, and love I’d want for my own pets! I am currently a part-time employee. My schedule is relatively stable but subject to change. I am unavailable at the following times due to my work schedule: Thursday and Friday 7:30am-3:00pm, and Saturday 6:30am-3:00pm I only do care at client’s homes because of my two cats at home who generally do not like other animals. I am ready to utilize client’s backyards, nearby trails, and anything else owners implement into their pet’s daily routine!

About: Hello! I have cared for farm animals full time. I used to foster dogs caring for wounds basic training along with dogs with reactive issues. I have 3 of my own all large breed but very friendly, and one horse with a big personality. I am patient and compassionate all animals have their own personality and all require different care. I work only nights I am a EMT . Which leaves my days free, I can provide all day pet care including walks and or stop ins no problem I can provide comfort to the pets playing or long walks while owners are away or at work. I can stop in as many times as the owners think throughout the day for potty breaks or nights when I’m off of work.

“Amanda was absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We hired her to stay in our home for three nights to care for our 14 year old senior dog and our 15 year old cat. My wife and I were a little apprehensive at first about having someone we did not know stay overnight in our home, especially with our senior dog, who needs frequent trips outside and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda completely exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond in every way, giving both of our pets the attention they needed and carefully following all of our care instructions. She told us she would treat our pets as if they were her own, and she truly did. Our senior dog needs frequent trips outside, some help walking, and is prone to accidents in the house. Amanda handled all of it with incredible patience, care, and professionalism. She made sure he had plenty of potty breaks by taking him out often, waking up early, and staying up late to care for him. When he had accidents, she took care of everything without hesitation, including thoroughly cleaning him up, washing his blankets and bedding, and making sure he was comfortable afterward. That level of care and compassion really meant a lot to us. She also kept our home incredibly clean. In fact, she even vacuumed the living room before we got home and left the house cleaner than we left it. On top of that, she sent us daily updates and texts about both our dog and cat, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Amanda is a true professional, caring, responsible, attentive, and dependable. She was a huge stress relief for us, and we felt so much better knowing our pets were in such capable hands. We will absolutely be using her again on a regular basis for as long as she is available.”

About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language. Now, I am currently studying canine training and management at SUNY Cobleskill where I work with a variety of canine’s daily. So I am currently on summer break from school, so I can assure you I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I start my day off by making sure my babies are fed and have fresh water, followed by going out for a walk and playing outside for a little! I have a dog and a cat who is very shy. If needed I have a crate that can be used.

About: I just got out of the Army after 8 years and had my best friend with me the whole way, a German Shepard named Mac. Sadly he passed about a year ago and I would love to have a new companion but I'm going back to school in the fall and need to focus on that. However, in the mean time I have the whole summer free to care for other's dogs. I live in a house with a large, fenced in yard and all the free time in the world. I'd love to have a dog to play with a d go on walks with. I currently have no obligations until January so I can devote 100% of my time and energy to your pup. Their care will be my full-time job. I have a large, fenced in yard and no other pets or children. I live on a large street perfect for walks and near the rail trail too.

We were greeted by Claire and her amazing family of 3 dogs, 1 cat and wonderful parents. The pets are all adorable and well behaved. Beautiful home and fenced in yard. Claire communicated through the time away and sent lots of reassurance, pics and videos. She was so flexible with drop off and pickup time too. I have a giant (114 lbs) dog so I am comfortable with larger and can handle ones that tend to pull. I am comfortable with strict feeding schedules/dietary restrictions if that’s what your pet needs.
