About: I have been an active volunteer with the Elmore SPCA in Peru Ny for 4 years. I often walk, socialize, enrich, and foster the dogs in the shelters care. I have worked with puppy's as young as 3 months up to the elder dogs to provide comfort. I am currently home for summer between my graduate years of college, my work schedule varies week to week. I have lived in this area for my entire life and am comfortable with traveling for the care. Unfortunately during this time I am unable to have pets in my home. To ensure the safety for me and your pets I have completed all state required ASPCA programs to work professionally with animals. My wife and I were a little apprehensive at first about having someone we did not know stay overnight in our home, especially with our senior dog, who needs frequent trips outside and is prone to accidents in the house. When he had accidents, she took care of everything without hesitation, including thoroughly cleaning him up, washing his blankets and bedding, and making sure he was comfortable afterward. That level of care and compassion really meant a lot to us. She also kept our home incredibly clean. In fact, she even vacuumed the living room before we got home and left the house cleaner than we left it. On top of that, she sent us daily updates and texts about both our dog and cat, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away.
