About: Hi, I’m Cory! I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have many years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I grew up with multiple dogs of my own and have also cared for many dogs and cats through Rover over the years. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I do have a kitten named Callie who is very friendly and accustomed to the dogs that stay with us. Your dog does not need to be cat friendly to stay with me. If your dog doesn’t do well with cats, just let me know ahead of time so I can make arrangements to keep Callie safely separated and give your dog their own space. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pet while you’re away. My goal is to make every dog in my care feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs and am happy to follow specific feeding schedules, walking routines, sleeping arrangements, and other instructions you provide. I’m also experienced with administering medications, including oral medications and insulin injections, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs who require a little extra attention as part of their daily routine. I currently work at a middle school on weekdays until 1:45 PM. While I’m at work, my husband is home with our three children, so dogs staying with us are never left home alone during that time. Once I’m home, I’m available to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship. We also have a fully fenced in yard, giving dogs plenty of space to safely get outside, stretch their legs, play, and enjoy some fresh air throughout the day. IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Because this is a family home with children and I may care for dogs from more than one household, all dogs staying with me must be friendly and safe around children. Dogs must also be friendly with other dogs unless we have discussed and arranged a private stay in advance. I did not worry about her at all though, because Jenna showed up on time, fed my kitty, and made sure she had water and a clean litter box. If desired, we have a tracker collar that gives us live updates of their location to ensure extra precautions. If your dog loves to run and play they will have play of space to do so! About: I’ve had animals since I was a child. A horse when I was 10 dogs, cats and still have dogs, cats and a horse in my life as of now have no problems with ministering medication to any animal. I used to work at a doggy daycare and I am very comfortable with all dog temperaments, ages, and medical issues if there are any and do not mind giving medicine etc. I live in dutchess county and would love to be considered as your dog walker! I am available most holidays and holiday weekends as well. I currently work 7:30-3:30 so I can do evening walks but mostly the weekends work best for me right now and I am very flexible with whatever care and walking is needed I am currently not doing boarding in my home right now due to work schedule, but if it is a good fit, I talk to the clients and make sure their dogs are on the schedule and activities that work best for them.
About: I have loved and been around animals my entire life; I say all the time I’d rather be in the presence of animals than humans ha ha ha! I have worked for a veterinary office, had my own animals, and have looked over friends and families animals. I pride myself on being a true animal lover & will go above & beyond for your fur babe & your family. I’m currently a SAHM who wants more interaction with animals (for my children as well)! My availability is pretty open. You let me know what’s needed & Im sure I can make it work! Whatever you prefer- I’d do! Crate, free range, leash, walks…We have a clean, fun (3 kiddos), and non-smoking home. About: I've taken care of animals for what feels like my entire life. I have raised two gorgeous dachshunds and have two crazy hot dogs currently. Love both cats and dogs, and I enjoy taking the dogs for walks. I have taken care of both puppies and seniors, and both need lots of care. I take care of my friends pets when they are away, and groom my own dogs. I work full-time and am generally able to do walks or visits anytime on the weekends. I cannot block out specific times on this site, and leave things mostly as available, HOWEVER, I am free after 4pm on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Wednesday thru Friday I am only free before 10:30am or after 7:30pm. So please keep that in mind when requesting services. Friends have either lent me keys or smart access to go in and care for their pets and plants. I will usually go in, play, walk and feed (or just walk and play depending on needs). I have taken care of their pets overnight while they're away and have stayed at their homes for extended vacations, if need be. My pets are friendly, playful and curious. They do well with both senior and puppies. All three of my pets are crate trained. The puppy is currently in the process of crate training now. I do not like to leave pets unattended for too long. Dogs that have not been socialized, are not cat friendly, or are aggressive may be problematic to board, as I do have pets in the home. I will work doggy dayplay and stays around any dog walks that are prearranged. Occasionally, I can do last minute appointments, but typically like to schedule out the week ahead. I take care of my two dogs daily, so adding another to the mix is typically no problem. I treat all pets like they are my own. I love animals and I will try to work with them as much as possible while ensuring everyone’s safety. I follow the owners requests when going into client homes and will ensure any requests or dietary concerns are addressed if they are dropped off.
