About: Hello! My name is Ellen! I don’t remember a time where there wasn’t a dog in the house. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and animals! I’ve trained two of my dogs, one of them was training with me to become a therapy dog, unfortunately he passed before he could do all the tests. I’ve taken care of my mom’s elderly coonhound and neighbors dogs. Life is better with dogs!! I can spend as much time with your pet as they need. I'm on summer break from school and looking to putting my love for animals to work. When I petsit for neighbors, the pet is my #1 priority. At my home, we have two dogs who are very dog friendly and would love the company. At your house, I can pick up your dog or stay there and watch them. I value privacy, and I reflect that when I enter someone’s home.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of animals but the bulk of my experience has been with dogs. I have carred for dogs of many different breads, ages-including puppies and senior dogs, and needs and I love them all. I am very outdoorsy, and an avid hiker, so if you have a dog who loves the woods and needs a good hike, I'm your gal! In addition to dogs, I am experienced with cats, rabbits, and other small animals. I am currently offering dog walking and pet care services as my primary job. In between taking care of animals I like to spend my free time staying active, spending time with my family, and working on creative projects. In addition to weekly dog walks, I offer the options of both overnight pet and house siting as well as drop in visits. The type of visit is dependent upon the animal and owner's needs. I provide loving attention, a consistent schedule, and lots of play time.

I’m also knowledgeable about animals body language and behavior, which play a huge role in working with reactive, fearful, or under-socialized pets. I’m a college student spending the summer at home, so my hours are pretty flexible, and I’m more than happy to work around my client’s schedules. When doing drop-in visits, I typically feed your pet first before completing any additional tasks you need taken care of (grooming, cleaning, scooping litter boxes, etc.). Once your pets are done eating, I can give them up to an hour of play/social time before i leave, depending on how much energy they tend to have.

About: I am a ER RN working at a hospital so I only work three days a week. So I have been looking at ways to fulfill my four days off by engaging in things that make me happy which of course is the affection of animals. I have experience in fostering dogs as well for months at a time. I have dog walked for my neighbors in my condo complex also. I have also fed my friends and sister’s cats as well when they are out of town. My dog recently passed away last year, so I just wanted a way to spend some quality time with other animals as well. I work three days a week and I have four days off. And I work every other Saturday and Sunday. Depending on my work schedule, I could find time for before and after my shift. I have a very high sense of safety knowing it’s my duty since my main profession is a nurse. So I will make sure pets are safe, and not in any harms way. I have two cats, I always make sure my doors are locked, bathrooms and cabinet doors are closed. During a visit, it will be my duty to make sure animals are safe before I leave. Making sure doors are and fences are closed.

About: I am 30 years old and would love to be your choice to help you take care of your babies! I am an engineer at Entegris and work on site Mon - Fri, 6am - 3:30pm. My hours of availability are 4:30pm - 9:30pm during the work week. I am also available for walking and check-ins on weekends from 8am to 10pm (Saturday & Sunday). I have 2 kids who are 4.5 years and 7 months old respectively, i pick them up from daycare around 4 and then spend the afternoon with my boys. My pup (Sophie) is 7.5 years old and is a beagle/pit mix. I would love to spend some time with your furry family member while you are not able to! I currently work full time and would be able to come play with your pup any time after 4! Unfortunately house sitting will be rather difficult at this time. We have a fenced back yard and live in a quiet neighborhood in Ridgefield. At clients homes I am always respectful of house rules and make sure to follow the guidelines.

I treat every animal I care for with the exact same love, respect, and high-quality attention that I give to my very own pets. As a teacher, my summer schedule opens up beautifully! While I will still be working with a few students, I schedule my lessons earlier in the day to ensure I have maximum flexibility for your pets. My weekends are 100% completely free and dedicated to pet care, and my late afternoons and evenings are entirely open as well. I am highly organized and communicative, so you will always know exactly when I am coming and going. Security, safety, and a calm environment are my top priorities. Because of my professional background as an in-home private instructor, I am deeply respectful of my clients' spaces, privacy, and household rules.
