About: Animals have always been a big part of my life—I had my own dog for 10 years, and I now volunteer at a local animal shelter. Those experiences have taught me how to be patient, attentive, and tuned into each pet’s unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs a little extra care as a senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home My schedule is very open during the week, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency in their care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays Monday through Thursday. I do like to keep my weekends a bit more flexible for personal time, but I’m still open to bookings with advance notice. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m able to prioritize each pet’s needs throughout the day. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I stick closely to their usual routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I take time to build trust at their pace, especially with shy or anxious pets, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive to details like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and keeping their environment tidy. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I have been volunteering in animal shelters for the past 6 years and I am a vet tech student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I can administer injections and handpill. I also have my own senior, diabetic dog at home and have no problem taking care of dogs that need a little more attention and time. I also have experience handling hamsters and mice and would be more than happy to meet the needs of any rodent! I am currently a university student (studying to be a vet tech!), but whenever I am home I am free to take care of as many pets as needed! I can provide care within your home and I don't mind walking a dog in any kind of terrain. I will treat your animals as if they're my own and their health and safety will come before all else.

About: Hello! My name is Ellen! I don’t remember a time where there wasn’t a dog in the house. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and animals! I’ve trained two of my dogs, one of them was training with me to become a therapy dog, unfortunately he passed before he could do all the tests. I’ve taken care of my mom’s elderly coonhound and neighbors dogs. Life is better with dogs!! I can spend as much time with your pet as they need. I'm on summer break from school and looking to putting my love for animals to work. When I petsit for neighbors, the pet is my #1 priority. At my home, we have two dogs who are very dog friendly and would love the company. At your house, I can pick up your dog or stay there and watch them. About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have always enjoyed playing with them. There was once that my dog had puppies and I remember seeing her giving birth and my parents caring for them. Today, I can’t have a dog in the house, so I enjoy caring for people’s dogs. My schedule varies so I’m available part-time some week days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and some weekends. I have older kids who also love animals and may tag along with me when they’re available. At home I don’t have pets of my own except for fish, so your dog will have full attention. I can also crate your dog if needed and if you’d like that, otherwise I’m comfortable letting it roam.

About: I am 30 years old and would love to be your choice to help you take care of your babies! I am an engineer at Entegris and work on site Mon - Fri, 6am - 3:30pm. My hours of availability are 4:30pm - 9:30pm during the work week. I am also available for walking and check-ins on weekends from 8am to 10pm (Saturday & Sunday). I have 2 kids who are 4.5 years and 7 months old respectively, i pick them up from daycare around 4 and then spend the afternoon with my boys. My pup (Sophie) is 7.5 years old and is a beagle/pit mix. I would love to spend some time with your furry family member while you are not able to! I currently work full time and would be able to come play with your pup any time after 4! Unfortunately house sitting will be rather difficult at this time. We have a fenced back yard and live in a quiet neighborhood in Ridgefield. At clients homes I am always respectful of house rules and make sure to follow the guidelines.

About: Our business has been booming with referrals and friends/family requests. Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

She asked for instructions before hand, followed them and took very good care of Beau. She sent daily updates with pictures too. We will definitely ask if she is available if we need a dog sitter again.”
