About: Animals have always been a big part of my life—I had my own dog for 10 years, and I now volunteer at a local animal shelter. Those experiences have taught me how to be patient, attentive, and tuned into each pet’s unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs a little extra care as a senior, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home My schedule is very open during the week, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency in their care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays Monday through Thursday. I do like to keep my weekends a bit more flexible for personal time, but I’m still open to bookings with advance notice. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m able to prioritize each pet’s needs throughout the day. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I stick closely to their usual routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I take time to build trust at their pace, especially with shy or anxious pets, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands.

“My dog just went through a few stressful events that has made him very anxious around strangers but he was very comfortable with Joe. We did a meet and greet before booking he did not show signs of anxiousness; in fact he took to Joe immediately licking him on his face. Joe then watched him all day on back to back days over the weekend which went very well. My dog was relaxed all day and did not have any issues. Joe is very flexible, priced extremely reasonable and I look forward to using him again in the future.”

About: Hello! My name is Ellen! I don’t remember a time where there wasn’t a dog in the house. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and animals! I’ve trained two of my dogs, one of them was training with me to become a therapy dog, unfortunately he passed before he could do all the tests. I’ve taken care of my mom’s elderly coonhound and neighbors dogs. Life is better with dogs!! I can spend as much time with your pet as they need. I'm on summer break from school and looking to putting my love for animals to work. When I petsit for neighbors, the pet is my #1 priority. At my home, we have two dogs who are very dog friendly and would love the company. At your house, I can pick up your dog or stay there and watch them. I value privacy, and I reflect that when I enter someone’s home.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old! I have had many dogs myself but I also helped my friends care for their animal! I have a small dog myself and I know how important it is to provide a healthy and fun lifestyle for your furry friend! I am currently working part time so I am free most weekends and weekdays, 11am-3pm to walk your dog and drop in on your furry friend! I love going on nice walks especially with a furry baby to keep me company! I also love dropping in to make sure your dog or cat is safe and well! I currently am not offering boarding. With dog walking, drop in visits and house sitting, I will make sure to be gentle and abide by how your dogs behaviors are! I would never push them more than what they can walk and I would spend time to get to know your furry friend and have your furry friend get to know me! If you ever need me to drop in on your furry friend just to make sure they are okay I would love to! I will play with them walk them outside to go to the bathroom and make sure they are fed :) We will do a meet and greet before any official bookings are made to make sure your pet feels comfortable with me!

About: I am 30 years old and would love to be your choice to help you take care of your babies! I am an engineer at Entegris and work on site Mon - Fri, 6am - 3:30pm. My hours of availability are 4:30pm - 9:30pm during the work week. I am also available for walking and check-ins on weekends from 8am to 10pm (Saturday & Sunday). I have 2 kids who are 4.5 years and 7 months old respectively, i pick them up from daycare around 4 and then spend the afternoon with my boys. My pup (Sophie) is 7.5 years old and is a beagle/pit mix. I would love to spend some time with your furry family member while you are not able to! I currently work full time and would be able to come play with your pup any time after 4! Unfortunately house sitting will be rather difficult at this time. We have a fenced back yard and live in a quiet neighborhood in Ridgefield. At clients homes I am always respectful of house rules and make sure to follow the guidelines.

“Spencer is the BEST! He has watched my pets before, including staying at my house for overnights while I was away. My dog Max is fairly large (about 90lbs) and extremely timid. It usually takes a few hours for Max to warm up to men, if at all, but Spencer had no problem at all earning Max's trust. Spencer has also watched my 2 cats, one of which (Bella) was very elderly and had complex health needs. Bella required constant care- including that she had chewing fatigue and would only eat her food in a specific way, which Spencer made for her (pureed boiled chicken with chicken broth). Spencer is trustworthy and really has a gift with animals. I highly recommend him!”
