Caitlin & Ryan H.

“Caitlyn and Ryan were exactly what you hope for in dog walkers - considerate, friendly, timely, responsible, easy going and helpful. They could not be more cooperative and are clearly dog loving. They actually played with my dog as well as walked! They go above and beyond. As a single working mother who adores her dog, there is no more comforting solace than to know your pet is well cared for while you are away, and Caitlyn and Ryan surely do so.”

Denise M.
“Denise is an amazing dog mom and dog walker. She loves taking pets in while others are away on travels and gives them the best couple of days filled with walks, hikes, swimming, and a cute photo shoot of your puppers. She constantly takes them to doggy beaches and parks, and takes them on hikes that keep them napping for hours. 10/10 would recommend her to watch your dogs !! She is a loving and reasonable dog watcher and walker. Guaranteed you’ll get amazing photos of your dogs on a walk from her, she loves keeping you in touch with your dogs when you’re away. AMAZING !!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 11 years old. I walk my dog everyday around my neighborhood. My friends have relied on me to feed and watch their pets for a few hours a day and overnight. I have a very flexible schedule so do not hesitate to reach out! I only travel to the owner’s home and will not be providing services in my own home. I’m currently studying for my board exam and will have plenty of time to watch your pets! However, I am currently sharing a car so my flexibility will be dependent on whether or not the car is available. I have used rover for a few months now and I have mostly cared for puppies. I have also played outside and walked many of them.

I am available to walk your dog anytime from 11 a.m - 7 p,m. Monday through Friday. I am flexible in terms of my hours. I will take your dog for a nice walk! Laurel L.
About: In addition to caring for my own 14 year old pit mix, I have years of experience taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I do visits for walks and feeding as well as overnights, and I am comfortable administering medication. I have also fostered two cats and had a pet bunny, and have additional experience sitting for cats and chickens! I am currently living at home on a gap year before medical school. I nanny about 20 hours a week and have time throughout the day for petsitting. I am available for overnights both during the week and on weekends. I will ensure your pet is well-supervised and cared for. I am happy to snuggle with them (if they're into that) and can crate them if desired!

Emily M.
“I would highly recommend Emily M as a pet caregiver for a variety of reasons. First off, her love and affection for animals is great, and it is evident every time pets are in her care. I run a pet care company in Westchester County and Emily is one of my pet care workers. I would describe her as loyal, affectionate, and she possesses characteristics of being reliable, punctual and follows directions meticulously. She thoroughly enjoys caring for cats, as she has a true affinity for our feline friends. Her energy is positive and calm, which allows for many pets to trust and be comfortable with her as their caregiver. It is helpful that she is openly communicative throughout the day on jobs, sending updates and photos so the owners are informed of how their loved pet is doing. I am truly confident that Emily would be a valuable caregiver for Rover. If you are looking for the perfect combination of caring affection with dedicated work ethic, this is your girl.”

Daniel W.
“Daniel is one of the most caring people I've ever had the pleasure of having in my life. He is so naturally calm and comforting with animals. Whether it be dogs, cats, or even horses, animals always seem to feel completely at ease with him. Daniel is also incredibly responsible and hardworking. If he were to care for an animal on Rover, they would be in the most capable hands! He is always willing to go above and beyond for others. I've also had the pleasure of getting to know Dan's family pets, whom he helped to raise. He has so much experience when it comes to the care of animals, Rover looks like such a natural fit!”

Makena N.

“Makena was great! Punctual and my dog absolutely loved her. Very sweet and so helpful!”

“Will has watched my dogs Rosie and Ivy several times and he has always provided great care to them. He communicates regularly with pictures and truly loves spending time with your animals.”

Kathleen M.

“I need a dog walker on short notice and Kathleen was able to squeeze us in! This was the first time I used rover and was nervous. She called me to go over everything and gave me updates throughout her visit, she even cleaned up the dog bowls. I will definitely be using her again”

Erin W.
“I was lucky enough to have lived with Erin as my roommate when I first adopted my dog, a punchy rescue mix named Indigo. Erin is a dedicated caregiver, a thoughtful presence, and was an amazing co-mama to my little one. On top of that, she has experience working at local farms with horses, cats, dogs, and chickens! She is a reliable girl with her heart in the totally right place. I could not recommend her services enough! Your pups would be happy under her love and care.”

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day that's necessary. I have two dogs of my own and my day heavily incorporates them into it. I made a concerted effort to do the same thing whenever I took care of foster dogs. Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. If there is a situation where your pup gets along with mine then it would be fine for them to hang out with us during the day if that's preferred for some company. Otherwise, we are able to separate my dogs and keep them upstairs while I care for your pup downstairs. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
