6. Denise M.
“I would highly recommend Denise to anyone who is looking for reliable and kind natured person to care for their pets. Denise’s own fur babies are a huge part of her life and family and it is clear how much they mean to her. I trust Denise completely with my two dogs, whether it be for a weekly walk or when my family is away on vacation for an extended period of time. I have peace of mind knowing that my dogs are always in good hands. One of my dogs does not warm up easily to other people or dogs so we have to be very selective about who choose to care for him. Denise handles him with confidence and ease and has the ability to make him feel less anxious and comfortable. Not an easy task! If you are looking for a reliable person with a big heart to care for your pets, look no further! Denise will not disappoint you!”

“I have observed Paige interact with animals as an animal lover and as a tech at the vet for several years. She is sensitive, caring, and devoted to her own dog and to pets, in general. I trusted Paige with my dog, Sebastian, and she did not disappoint. She was reliable, responsible and I knew she was wonderful with my Sebastian because he was so happy to see her when she arrived. Truth be told, I might have been a bit sad that he wasn’t unhappy when I left. I would rate Paige A++”

About: In addition to caring for my own 14 year old pit mix, I have years of experience taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I do visits for walks and feeding as well as overnights, and I am comfortable administering medication. I have also fostered two cats and had a pet bunny, and have additional experience sitting for cats and chickens! I am currently living at home on a gap year before medical school. I nanny about 20 hours a week and have time throughout the day for petsitting. I am available for overnights both during the week and on weekends. I will ensure your pet is well-supervised and cared for. I am happy to snuggle with them (if they're into that) and can crate them if desired!
17. Emily M.
“I would highly recommend Emily M as a pet caregiver for a variety of reasons. First off, her love and affection for animals is great, and it is evident every time pets are in her care. I run a pet care company in Westchester County and Emily is one of my pet care workers. I would describe her as loyal, affectionate, and she possesses characteristics of being reliable, punctual and follows directions meticulously. She thoroughly enjoys caring for cats, as she has a true affinity for our feline friends. Her energy is positive and calm, which allows for many pets to trust and be comfortable with her as their caregiver. It is helpful that she is openly communicative throughout the day on jobs, sending updates and photos so the owners are informed of how their loved pet is doing. I am truly confident that Emily would be a valuable caregiver for Rover. If you are looking for the perfect combination of caring affection with dedicated work ethic, this is your girl.”
18. Lori G.

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day that's necessary. I have two dogs of my own and my day heavily incorporates them into it. I made a concerted effort to do the same thing whenever I took care of foster dogs. Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. If there is a situation where your pup gets along with mine then it would be fine for them to hang out with us during the day if that's preferred for some company. Otherwise, we are able to separate my dogs and keep them upstairs while I care for your pup downstairs. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
