About: I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. About: Hi there! My name is Elizabeth. I have my own place and work as a nurse in New York City. I have unfortunately been affected by the ongoing nursing strike and looking for different streams of income. When I am not caring for humans, I love taking care of my fur-babies Mellow and Zoey! Mellow is my 15 year old domestic short hair rescue cat and Zoey is my 10lb Chihuahua. I am very active individual; I love to hike and run which goes along well with walking your dog outside. I also like to keep parents abreast of what their pets are up to, and will send frequent pictures if you so choose Please enjoy your vacation, work, or time away from home while I take care of your pet. I am comfortable caring for pets who live in either Westchester or Connecticut I work three times a week, so I am always able to fit per car around my work schedule. I was also a volunteer at the Human Society and mostly worked in the cat room - spending time and cuddles and cleaning their living area. I know that the care of your pet is the most important thing to feel secure about when going on vacation or out of town. In addition to years of care sitting for both cats and dogs, I volunteered in South Africa and cared for baby baboons! I know your pet is unique and I will follow all instructions given to ensure your peace of mind, your pet’s safety, and will send pictures daily! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other animals since I was 15! I’ve done cat and dog sitting as well as cat boarding! I’m walking dogs at least once a day or every other day! I also frequently sit for dogs! At home I have two rabbits and two goats which frequently need different types of care! In my home, my rabbits each have personal rooms and my goats have a fenced in area with a house! They all need frequent care which I provide daily! I can accommodate whatever your dogs daily schedule is into my own. I have a very flexible schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, the back yard is safe for dogs. I can walk your dog around the neighborhood and the house is dog safe.

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
