About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I have had years of experience with other peoples pets, and primarily my own. I have taken care of my own Dogs, cats, snakes, hamsters, horses, and fish over the years. I’ve grown up with puppies, and currently have my own 2 kittens, and also have had elderly dogs, cats, and horses before. I have always adored animals, and have always been an important part in my life so I would love to make more furry friends with your pets:) I currently am enrolled in school at The University of New Hampshire. My schedule is super open this semester since I took summer classes so my work load would be easier. In home care : I would make sure to send client photos if l was boarding their pet at my apartment, and make sure I follow the exact instructions given. When other people watch my pets , there’s always the anxiety of making sure they are treated well, and taken care of. Clients home: if I took care of the clients pets, I would make sure that I followed all the rules given and more. I understand it can be uncomfortable for a stranger to be in your house, so trust and reassurance everything is safe it’s important as a pet and home owner

I am willing to work with your pup on basic training, or put them in my car, for a short drive to a favorite walking area. If you need me to feed your dog or cat, please let me know. I can also spend time playing or cuddling with your dog or cat. When I am not enjoying the company of pets, I am drawing or painting pet portraits for commissions. I have been walking dogs and taking care of pets during the day for 17 years now, and I spend my evenings drawing and painting pets for commissions as a pet portrait artist. It’s all about the animals with me! I would love to come to your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood, or perhaps drive them to a close by favorite walking area. Some dogs have invisible fence collars, and need to be driven off the property, or they live on busy streets, that are not safe streets to walk on. I can drive them to a quiet side street or a park, if you prefer. You can request a feeding, if you would like, and I could do a quick scan of the house for any unexpected accidents, and clean them up for you. I can do drop-in visit (15 minutes), or a full 30 minute walk or play in the yard. More time can be requested, if necessary. For cat care, I can clean the litter boxes, feed your cat/refresh their water, and play or cuddle with them. I can also take a quick scan of the house for messes for them also.

About: I have taken care of friends and family pets over the course of this year some long-term and some short term. Frequent dog park visits and timely feedings. I can accommodate all types of diets, raw kibble, and specialty foods. I currently work full-time however I have a rotating schedule so I can often pet sit and drop in weekdays if needed and weekends. I am off in the mornings so drop and visits are easy for people who work 9 to 5 and just want their dog to have some extra time out or to just check in on the cats. There is an option of having your pet here in my space all to themselves or with my personal pets. I have different options of sleeping accommodations for your pet cage, cot and cushioned. Though I do not have a fenced in yard, I have a dog park in my complex as well as a dog park 4 minutes away by car. I can accommodate all diets, including raw diet.

About: I have taken care of Samoyeds my whole life. Many of my own dogs have had litters that I’ve taken care of. I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dogs which range in size from chihuahuas to German shepherds. My main career is mainly remote so I’m able to stay at home and take care of dogs. My own pets are taken out twice a day and fed twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. In my house we usually cage our dogs until everyone is home so we have enough eyes to watch them. If you need me to stay with your dog the entire time that shouldn’t be a problem.

About: When I was a kid, I would literally take my stuffed animals on walks. Now, I walk real pets. For years I dreamed of having my own dog to walk. After 7 years of walking my plush toy puppy, I finally got my own real live dog. Since then, I’ve taught him many tricks (even entering him in contests). Although I'm most comfortable with dogs and cats, I love being around all animals and have always cared for my pets as if they were my children (even if at times they were just stuffed animals 😭). I am post-grad freelance publicist with a flexible schedule. I miss my own dog a lot (who recently passed) and would love to get the chance to spend time with dogs and animals in general. As long as I have ample notice, I can fit stays and walks into my schedule without a problem as my schedule is flexible. I can guarantee that your pets safety will be my top priority -- I will adjust my care routine based on your specific pets’ needs and am extremely detail-oriented. While I am excellent with following specific directions, I can take initiative when needed. With many leadership roles at my college, I am confident that I can think quick on my feet. Lastly, I can adapt to any home and pet depending on their needs. Not only can I play with them and teach them tricks, I am also skilled at providing the highest-quality care through practice taking care of my own dog, who requires medication, regular exercise, and careful attention.

About: I've owned and cared for animals my whole life, from cats and dogs to snakes and chinchillas. My fur babies are everything to me - I even have them forever tatted on me! My current English bulldog, Stella, is half-blind and all crazy. She is a protector and lover of my two girls, who have known and grown up with animals their whole lives. While a sweetheart, she remains separate from my boarded friends. I also enjoy volunteering at two of our local animal shelters and am raising a future veterinarian. I believe animals are the purest form of love and require nothing less in return. Pet care and motherhood are my full-time roles, and my daughter may often accompany me on my walks. My home has large yard and a separate family area where my boarded friends can have their own quiet, private space to hang out with me: hang on the couch, watch TV, or play outside. About: I’m currently an Animal Science major in college and I’ve had a lot of experiences working with a variety of animals. I’ve interned for several vet hospitals and worked for two dog training companies. I have a lot of experience handling daily care for many different breeds and ages and I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior. My schedule on the days available is very flexible. I am local and doing courses online. I am happy to work with you to best meet your pet’s needs! While I cannot care for other pets in my current home I am happy to do drop ins when needed. These can include walks, feeding, and enrichment!

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
