“Violeta took excellent care of our 2 cats. They seemed very calm when we got home - evidence of being played with and feeling secure. There was a Hurricane warning and she made sure they had extra food in case of any disruption. I will definitely rebook in the future!!”

About: I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!
“I highly recommend booking Laurie as your pet sitter. She has watched our cat twice and I feel better being away knowing our cat is well-taken care of. She sends thorough updates during the drop ins, follows up afterwards, and includes pictures of our pet which I really appreciate.”

“From the moment we met Diana my dog and kitten both responded to her with no hesitation- my dog loved her from first meeting. Our trip was extended and she was flexible with all the back and forth changes . Which we really appreciate and was reassuring! Not only did she add on last minute service, she also was ready to adjust payment ( credit) for scheduling changes . I am thankful to have found her, and will happily ask for continued help with Diana!”

“Becky did an awesome job taking care of my 2 cats and parrot. She was attentive and flexible throughout the entire visit. My pets were happy and well taken care of! I do recommend using her and plan on having her pet sit for me again in the future!”

“Tara is everything anyone could ask for in a pet sitter and more. She has great communication skills, is flexible, and caring. She was in contact with us daily, providing updates along with photos. We are so grateful for the excellent service, and will definitely use her services again in the future. ??⬛”

“I had an excellent experience with Cam, who took care of my 2 cats and 2 bunnies while I went on a brief vacation. Cam is reliable and attentive and updated me after each visit with notes and pictures. My pets were happy and relaxed when I returned and my house was spotless. I would definitely rebook with Cam!”

“This was our third time booking Cassidy and as always she was so professional and took amazing care of our two babies! Highly recommend her to be your next pet sitter :)”

“Jennifer took great care of our kitty girl (and our home) while we were away. She was easy to get in touch with and gave us confidence our girl was in good hands. When we were delayed coming home from our trip, she stuck around for us and helped take care of our dog too. We are all looking forward to having her come back soon.”

“Noelle was wonderful! Caring, professional, trustworthy, great communicator and provided us with daily photos and updates. Will definitely use Noelle again and can recommend her 100%.”

“We’ve had Stacey tend to Oliver on multiple occasions and he’s really taken to her. She goes beyond the call of duty and truly cares for him like he’s her own. He looks forward to seeing her and doesn’t want her to leave! It’s very nice to know that when we’re away he has someone like Stacey to take care of him, whether it’s house-sitting or just dropping by in the middle of the day to say hi and give him a hug (and lunch)!”

Bedford cat parents share their Rover experiences
Laurie is the best cat sitter I’ve ever had. She is 100% reliable and very careful to do things however I ask. She has done extras for me, like watering plants and bringing in mail I couldn’t stop — she always gives 100% effort and really likes my cats. Of course I tip her, but we do cash.
