I've been pet parent to dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes to my current Sheepadoodle — there's no dog size or personality that's too much or too little, IMHO. I also happen to share my home with a ball python named Fettuccine Alfredo 🐍, who is a distinguished, low-drama fellow. If you need someone who will actually look at your monstera and not just splash water in its general direction, that's me. (My avocado tree, grown from a pit, is thriving. I'm not taking questions.) My mornings are consistently free, which works well for walks and drop-in visits, and I have flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends for longer stays or housesitting. On days when I'm teaching in the afternoons and evenings, I'm still available in the mornings — and I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I'm never stretched too thin across clients. When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all breeds my entire life and have years of experience walking and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with basic training, patience, and positive reinforcement as well as being comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I am a very active person, so I’m not deterred if a dog has hyperactive needs! I work most weekdays, typically about 7 hours a day. My schedule often allows flexibility before or after shifts for morning or afternoon walks and check-ins. I do not work nights or weekends, and I’m also available for longer hikes or excursions on those days. I prioritize keeping a consistent routine making sure the transition is as smooth as possible; this includes ensuring feeding schedules, walk times and other specific care needs are met. I love enrichment through walks, play, and companionship so that your pet feels comfortable while their owner is away.

For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 11 (various animals, and breeds)! I’ve grown up with dogs and I’ve always had multiple in my home. I have experience taking care of guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish, but specifically puppies, and senior dogs. I am a college student that’s working part-time over the summer. However, my day-to-day schedule is extremely flexible and I am at home for a majority of my workday. I have a large backyard that is fenced in, and a very mellow old lab who can either keep your pet company or be crated if needed!
