“We have just returned from a three day getaway, and Nicole stayed with our dog Buster. She is excellent! This was our first time leaving our dog for more than one night and I had a lot of anxiety about it. Nicole took wonderful care of Buster! She was in touch shortly after we left, with photos and an update. This continued throughout our trip. Nicole was easy to reach and always happy to give me some news about Buster. When we returned, Buster was very relaxed and happy. In addition, our house was so clean and neat! Now that we know Nicole, we are confident about booking more trips, knowing that Buster has a great caregiver!”

About: I’ve Dog Sat and Dog Walked for friends and neighbors for 5 years, providing care and love for adorable and angelic animals like dogs is a blessing in itself. I have an immense love for Dogs, an instant connection with them, and a deep passion for caring for animals. I’m currently working as a freelance, contract worker in the film industry, but I’m available for all of January as the industry has slowed down this time of year. I treat dogs with nothing but love. 1st I like to take time and learn what kind of dog they are, shy, energetic, nervous, then cater my care specifically to their personality. I consistently, naturally spend extra time playing with and petting the dog, to make sure they’re not just fed and let out to pee, but loved as well.

“Lana is the best of the best! She is super reliable and communicative! She went above and beyond to stick to our proposed schedule which required extended care and visits to our house, and our dog seemed very comfortable with her. Would love to work with Lana again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old and picked out the cutest black Lab/ border Collie mix named Memphis. Growing up with dogs and living with dogs has been such an important part of my life. My Mom even says I love dogs more than her! Friends have trusted me to take their dogs on walks, house-sit and just go over for some play-time. I'm currently working part-time on my next venture and can work from anywhere! This means my time is very flexible and can help out during all hours of the week. I consider myself a very caring and detail oriented person. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, per your instructions. I also pride myself on being a very clean individual and will take great care of your home.

About: I’m an avid animal lover and have been caring for pets since I was 6 years old. I grew up with three dogs and a cat and was always actively involved in their daily care, from walks, feedings, to playtime, and vet visits. I currently have two dogs who live in Florida with my parents, since moving to Connecticut for work I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like. That’s a big reason I’m excited to dog and cat sit — I truly miss having animals around and the joy they bring. I treat every fur baby like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! I work a full time hybrid job with no requirement for being in office and also have half days on Fridays. If I need to be in office, I have an hour lunch break to allow for potty breaks and can flex my time to best accommodate your fur baby. If your pet is more comfortable staying at your house, I can drop by to let them out or stay over if that’s your preference. Whatever makes you and your fur babies the most comfortable. My roommate has a 1 year old Maltese Pomeranian named Dune, who is house trained and very sociable. There are space within my apartment where I can crate your pet away from my roommate Dune or I have space to have them roam if you prefer. I love to play around with animals if they like to play or I can hang around and read my books. Here to make your time away as stress free as possible.
“Becky was amazing as a live-in cat sitter for my elderly cat!! She was able to give him pills and inhalers easily. She sent me frequent updates and left my home spotless. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“Carmen housesat with my 2 pups and did great with them! She kept in frequent communication via text, photos, and videos. I never felt worried or anxious about how the pups were doing and always felt confident that she had things under control which is saying something since one of my dogs in particular is an older pup that’s pretty difficult. Carmen has to administer pills, give eye drops, and prepare specific meals and did all of it perfectly. I’m so grateful for her help and the great care she took of my pups!”
“Jason was great with our animals. He sent some photos and kept in touch letting us know how everything was going and how sweet our pets were for him. We hope to be able to book him again in the future.”

“Eric did a house / dog sit at my home for about a week. He was an excellent communicator and gave me great updates on how my pup, Lucy, was doing. The house was in great shape when I returned and Lucy was clearly happy and well taken care of. Would highly recommend Eric for any rover needs. Thanks!”

“Claire is absolutely the best dog sitter you could find. We came home from an extended trip to find out senior dog calm and happy after Claire’s overnight stays at our home. Claire sent photos, videos and text updates daily which were lovely and reassuring.”

“Emma did an amazing job taking care of our almost two year old pup. She clearly has a natural ability with animals and put my mind at ease from the moment we met her. She was great at absorbing and following our directions and was very communicative during our trip, sending lovely updates and photos. Our dog was clearly and well cared for throughout and we have already booked Emma for another getaway. Very happy to have found her!”

“Brandi did a great job dog sitting at our home with an elderly dog recovering from surgery. Along with snow and ice, this wasn’t an easy assignment, but Brandi came through with compassion and grace. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been primary caretaker of our family’s dogs for the past 25 years and our latest lab passed away a year ago. Rather than get a new dog, I’ve decided to become a dog sitter and I am very interested in caring for your dog with the same love that I have given to my dogs. I miss walking my dog, and getting out in the neighborhood in all weather. I primarily work at home and love having a dog by my side. I work from home and I’m available to care for your dog, including frequent walk breaks. I love having a dog by my side while working. I am happy to crate your dog if preferred. But typically the dog has the full roam of the house. I like to keep the dog on the leash and I’m available to walk frequently.
“If I could do more stars I would. We just came back from 12 days vacation in Europe and I asked Lovely to babysit the dogs and the house. As everyone knows biggest travel concern, at least for us is leaving the dogs. She was phenomenal. She kept us updated, took care of the house and dogs in a crazy storm that hit our town while we were gone. Every communication helped put any fears I had to rest. Every company needs people who represents the vision they portray. Lovely does that to perfection. Lovely, thank you, thank you , thank you for everything. You’re 5+ stars. Zero reservations in using Lovely the next time we travel. Just hope she’s available!!!”
