About: For most of my life I have had either beloved cats or dogs. Marnie my 12 lb pomchi rescue, she is easy going and can sniff for hours, so we can walk for hours, or enjoy a dog park with your dog. Elderly is fine if they also can walk a fair distance. Animal advocate. I have a flexible schedule, mornings are best, early mornings too. Can take a long walk with my easy going dog. Happy to travel for gas recompenation. Will not be caring for dogs in my home at this time, unless very small/tiny and quiet. I can come to your house happy to travel if for a longer stay.

About: I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!
