Pet care experience
Taking care of dogs/cat is my forte
Animals have always been a part of my life. Ever since I was a toddler watching our greyhound eat Cheerios off of my high chair. For the past 4 years I’ve been taking care of my dog Milo. He’s a super nova of energy and has taught me how to keep a high energy dog entertained, contained on walks, and peaceful amongst other leashed dogs and people. Im currently employed with a small local dog walking/ animal care business and Im looking to expand my clientele on Rover. In past jobs Ive taken two golden retrievers on local trails and reserves, looked after multiple sets of cats, boarded two dogs, walked puppies, learned how to give dogs and cats medicine, and gained a bunch of furry friends! Additionally, I’ve fostered around 10 dogs total. All of the dogs that I fostered were under the age of one year. While fostering I’ve learned how to potty train a dog and overall how to care for very young puppies. No matter the age, breed, energy level, etc I’d be happy to care for your pet. I love pets of all different shapes and sizes:)

It was a delight to work with 'Emily--she was pleasant and professional, and also considerate (e.g., offering to bring in our mail). She was responsive to our requests, and very gentle and caring towards our 2 senior dogs. We will be taking another trip this fall, and hope that Emily's fall schedule will allow her to work with us again.
Emily is a very caring, responsible, and reliable cat sitter. She sent me photos of my cats and checked in with me while she took care of them. When I got home, my cats seemed very well taken care of, and Emily left everything tidy. I highly recommend Emily as a very conscientious pet sitter!

Schedule
I’m currently a full-time college student. I am still available for most hours weekdays and the most available on weekends. During the summer/ breaks, I have ample availability.

I have a very friendly and energetic medium-large sized dog that I love taking care of. I have experience in walking, crating, feeding, cleaning litter, and playing with my dog and past clients dogs and/or cats.
A typical day
I enjoy both high-energy play time and well as relaxed visits with pets. For energetic pets, I can take them on long walks. If requested, I can potentially take dogs to local trails.
