Outdoor Safety: During walks and outdoor breaks, safety is paramount- I practice attentive situational awareness and strive to maintain large distances from any off-leash dogs, as well as ensuring your pet is safely and securely harnessed/leashed. Overall Safety Precautions: From my rescue experience, animals are curious!- In this, I ensure all doors, gates, and deadbolts are latched securely during every entry and exit, double-check that food and medications are sealed out of reach, as well as keeping a watchful eye out for subtle changes in pet health or behavior. About: If you’re looking for someone to just drop a bowl of kibble and scroll on their phone, I’m probably not your person. But if you want someone who will treat your pet like a misunderstood genius or a retired diplomat, we’re going to get along great! I work for the MTA as a train operator in the city, but on my days off I love taking my corgi Zuko on long walks and playing in our yard. I've had dogs and cats since I was young, and have a special affinity for all animals. If you want your fur baby treated like the king or queen they know they are while you're away, look no further! I am currently off Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays so I will have the full 24 hours of those days to walk, play, entertain, and care for your pets. I have a large unfenced yard on a very quiet street off the main road. I also have a extremely friendly and energetic corgi named Zuko who will assuredly be your pets new best friend. There will be tons of playing, running, fetch and more to ensure your pet has the best experience staying at their home away from home.

About: Hello I am Julieanna. I have been working with dogs for the past 8 years and I have been a dog trainer/sitter for the past few years and now I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital for the past 2 years. I know how hard it can be to balance taking care of your pet(s) and work/life. I have a dog and a cat myself and I would want someone I can trust taking care of them. I hope to be the person you ask for help. I’m currently working full time so my schedule isn’t completely free but I am fairly flexible with my schedule. I am off on Fridays and have some availability on Saturdays depending on my work schedule. I will ask the client if there are any rules in their homes for their pet. I will listen to directions and make sure the pet is safe and happy.

About: For almost all of my life I have had either beloved cats or dogs. I can do long walks or cat playtime. I am also an animal advocate. My small dog with a big friendly personality, who recently passed at age 14, was epileptic and I kept her close. We were besties. I got to spend a lot of time with other dogs with her. Before that I always had cats, I get them, and I find them all cute and hilarious. I have a flexible schedule, mornings are best, right now Mon-wed.. Can take a long walk or just hang out with your animal. Weekends are great. I live in Somers and work part time in Pleasantville. So anywhere in between is great. Will not be caring for dogs in my home at this time, unless very small/tiny and quiet. I can come to your house happy to travel if for a longer stay.

I respect your home, lock up carefully, and leave everything as I found it. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and stick to safe, familiar routes. For every service: I send photo and video updates so you always know your pet is happy and safe, I stay reachable throughout the booking, and I always do a free meet-and-greet first. If anything ever seems off with your pet's health or behavior, I'll contact you right away and follow your emergency plan.
