About: I am a lover of all animals big and small. I was blessed to own many species of pets while growing up. They taught me about responsibility, and gave me respect and appreciation for all living creatures. I have experience with many species: popular pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, and exotic pets such as ferrets, reptiles and fish. I am proud to say I am a NY state licensed Veterinary Technician with an animal medical background. I’m currently working full time but I like to make time to keep busy during the week with walks, boardings and sittings. I am very flexible. I have the ability to work from home and my husband is home during the day for additional care, when needed. I live in an apartment with a beautiful grassy yard for walking and a nice dog park onsite. I have a spare room for the dog to stay, if needed. I can also accommodate a crate trained dog. I can accommodate almost anything. Please let me know your requests and I will try my best to make it happen.

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
