About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I take pride in the impact I have on animals. My deep and tender care for them is unmatchable and it brings me so much joy to help them live their lives more easefully. I have done sporadic work my whole life with animals; having pets of my own, always being the one to volunteer to help neighbors, friends, and family, working on a farm, and even hosting class pets. About: I've loved and cared for 11 family dogs and countless friends' dogs and cats since I was 12. I have a deep respect for animals and am very attentive to their signals and communication. My day always starts with coffee and my dogs. Your dog will receive 3 walks per day, minimum, and will be free to roam the lower level of my home, where I work from my home office. My dogs have their space upstairs in our main house, and my guests downstairs with me.
