“Kara is a dream come true. Lovely, funny and so conscientious. With every visit to my home, she texted me updates about my fur babies. He took the time to learn about my dogs' individual personalities, preferences, and any special requirements they may have had. This attention to detail immediately put me at ease and gave me confidence that my pets were in excellent hands. I cannot recommend Don's pet caregiving services enough. 14. Melisa P.
About: HI! I’m Melisa, and I love animals of all kinds. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, birds, cows, rabbits, chickens… you name it. Between growing up with animals in the home since I was a child, volunteering for many (MANY) years at a few animal shelters during grade school and college, and the pet sitting I've done since moving to New York (in 2009), I have a lot of experience with animals of all temperaments, sizes, and ages. To echo the above, I am comfortable with any size/breed of dog, and have worked with senior animals as well. It would be my pleasure to help you with your dogs and cats, whether that is for a daytime walk, a drop-in, or overnight. I love playtime and snuggle time equally, and can provide whatever you and your pet require. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your pup! I work from home in Bedford Hills, NY. I go into the office every now and then, so am around most of the time! My extra curriculars happen around my dog walking and pet sitting schedule, so my schedule is flexible. I would like to be aware of your home's safety measures (please don't let me accidentally set off an alarm!) if they are present. Also, during the cold weather, I'd love to know if your dog needs a jacket or booties when going on a long walk.

“The best!”
16. Joseph & Liz C.
“We have a Maltese named Luna. Luna is a spoil and very affectionate dog that wants to be with company all the time. When we all travel for family vacation, we only trust Yumiko to take care of Luna because with Yumiko Luna gets the love and care she needs to feel good while her family is not around, and we can leave confident knowing that Luna is getting a great care. When Luna sees Yumiko and her family, she gets really excited.”
17. Nicole F.
“Nicole loves dogs and since she grew up with many different dogs she really knows how to handle them and take really good care of your dog. She is energetic and knows that your dog loves to get excercise, and she will provide it cheerfully. Yours will be one lucky dog!”
18. Nicole K.
“Nicole is a wonderful caretaker for your pup! She is very playful and is always thinking of new creative ways to keep pups entertained. I've watched her take on training her high energy pup with success! I highly recommend Nicole to take care of your pets!”

About: I have friends who have dogs. Sometimes, I’ll teach them tricks so they can learn how to communicate more. I’ll play fetch with them too outside in their backyard. I’ve trained a couple of puppies to respond to their name, sit, doing a back roll etc. I come home everyday to my cats greeting me at the door, if they’re not tired. I take care of them as if they were children. If any slight little thing is wrong, I take action and I take them to the vet asap. They are a part of my life and my journey along the way! My cats are indoor cats. My mother will take my cats out on the balcony in a big zipped playpen for them to get fresh air. I always feed my cats at the same time everyday, clean their litter, play around and share the love that they deserve.
20. Cristel C.
“She has taken care of my dear husky before, and she has been more than excellente. My pet loves her and always gets excited when seeing her, he loves to be with her and I notice how my baby has advanced a lot when socializing, thanks to her. I would trust her my pet without doubting.”
