About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs of all breeds my entire life and have years of experience walking and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with basic training, patience, and positive reinforcement as well as being comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I am a very active person, so I’m not deterred if a dog has hyperactive needs! I work most weekdays, typically about 7 hours a day. My schedule often allows flexibility before or after shifts for morning or afternoon walks and check-ins. I do not work nights or weekends, and I’m also available for longer hikes or excursions on those days. I prioritize keeping a consistent routine making sure the transition is as smooth as possible; this includes ensuring feeding schedules, walk times and other specific care needs are met. I love enrichment through walks, play, and companionship so that your pet feels comfortable while their owner is away.

About: I was a vet tech at the clinic I grew up by until recently, when I changed career fields. As a former vet tech, I am comfortable giving oral and injectable medications, working with special care animals (kidney disease/renal failure, epilepsy, diabetes, Cushings/Addisons, etc) and have wellbeing expertise beyond that of a typical sitter; if something goes wrong, I know protocol and when to get a vet involved. If you happen to have animals beyond just dogs and cats, I have large and small animal experience (livestock, especially horses, chickens, dogs of all sizes, cats, exotics) and pet sat for friends and family for years until I moved. I love animals and am looking forward to get to know yours! I'm working full time M-F but work nearby and have a lunch break in the middle of the day. I'm an active person and am happy to exercise your baby and give them lots of love. I care for your pets as if they were my own. I believe in not just doing what's necessary (feeding, potty breaks/cleaning the litter box) but also in giving mental and physical exercise. I'm happy to live on your pet or let them keep their distance according to their personality and needs.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and know how to make animals feel comfortable and cared for. I offer dog walking and cat boarding from my home in Yorktown Heights. Guest cats stay in their own private room with fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. For dog walking I keep things low stress, consistent, and fun. I work from home regularly so I'm around often and take every pet's routine seriously. I treat every animal like my own. I work from home frequently which means pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. I genuinely enjoy spending time with and meeting new animals so this isn't a job to me, it's a passion. I have a dog and two cats of my own so I know firsthand what animals need to feel safe and comfortable. Guest cats are kept in their own private, dedicated room completely separate from my resident pets, giving them a quiet space to decompress and settle in at their own pace. For dog walking I keep things calm and consistent, always on leash, through the safe residential streets of Yorktown Heights or local parks where my dog frequents himself. I pay close attention to each animal's personality and adjust my approach accordingly. Whether a pet is social and energetic or shy and cautious, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My home is peaceful, clean, and genuinely pet friendly.

About: Hi! I'm Brittany. Nice to meet you! I have around 9+ combined years of experience petsitting and a lifetime of experience around animals. I have always loved animals and started dogwalking as a small side job in 2012 in highschool. I got my real start in 2018 working full-time for a small pet-sitting business, where I learned the ropes and built the skills I still use every day. Since about 2020 I have branched off independently and have continued to be a loved local petsitter for many clients in my area. Other than petsitting I work at a local pet store, if you know me please say hello! I value myself as trusted petsitter in my community, with many of my clients existing through referrals, past pet sitting connections, and from the pet store where I work. Most of my business actively continues through those channels, but I decided to keep Rover as a way to add a little extra outreach and connect with new families. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets including super seniors, puppies and kittens, and dogs and cats with a wide variety of medical conditions requiring administration of regular meds, treatments, or insulin. I am familar with pets with strict dietary requirements or regimens (dont worry its not too complicated!). I am comfortable handling strong pullers, leash aggressive/reactive dogs and have a gentle touch to be able to bond with fearful feral cats. I also have experience with aquatic pets, small animals like chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits and some experience with lizards and birds. I can also do water parameter testing on your aquariums if equipment is provided to me. Pets are truly my life! And I know your pets are Your life so I will always do everything to ensure your pets are loved, safe, and cared for while you are away and make sure we have lots of fun too! I work at a pet store 6 days a week from 10–6 with a midday break I use for visits. For pets needing 1 or 2 visits a day, they will happen before and/or after those hours. For overnight or 3x visit a day clients I will provide one of the visits during my lunch break. Since I work at a pet store, I can easily grab many forgotten or necessary items for your pet anytime. My schedule ensures I am usually only ever away for ~5 hours at a time. Pets I care for must be okay with some time by themselves, since my bookings are not considered 24/7 care (non -constant). If you need something more full-time, please feel free to message me and I may be able to work something out depending on the request. The schedule I keep generally works well for my clients and the majority of pet owners, but for special circumstances I can make adjustments for specific days if necessary Overnights typically include Dinner care through Breakfast care and a single return visit midday. I require all of my clients to provide up to date preferred vet information, emergency contact info and provide me prior authorization to seek emergency care for their pets. To this date I have never had to use that information for any emergencies, but I always ask for it. Other than that I will strictly follow rules requested of me, I never do any off leash without being explicitly instructed to, and will only ever provide pets snacks and food that are indicated to me to use for them. I will never take any unnecessary risks with your pet or with your home. I am always respectful with homes and try to leave them as close to how it was before or cleaner than when I arrived as possible. I will make sure plants are watered, mail is inside and check in regularly with images. I am also open to some video or voice calling with your pets if requested. I am unable to provide full home cleaning services, however, I will within reason wash requested items (such as bedding or towels), clean up after myself, and make sure pet areas and bowls are kept tidy.

About: I have taken care of dogs since we first got our family dog when I was 15. I take care of my neighbors dogs/cats when they go on vacation as well as family members pets when needed. I currently have no pets in my home but would love to help you care for yours. I do work full time but definitely have time to take care of your pups. I am available for boarding Thursday nights to Monday nights or stop by your home when needed for a walk or just to hang out with them! I live in a complex with plenty of outdoor space and close by a walking path. My husband and I love dogs of all sizes and would love to take care of them!

About: I have had years of experience with other peoples pets, and primarily my own. I have taken care of my own Dogs, cats, snakes, hamsters, horses, and fish over the years. I’ve grown up with puppies, and currently have my own 2 kittens, and also have had elderly dogs, cats, and horses before. My schedule is super open this semester since I took summer classes so my work load would be easier. In home care : I would make sure to send client photos if l was boarding their pet at my apartment, and make sure I follow the exact instructions given. When other people watch my pets , there’s always the anxiety of making sure they are treated well, and taken care of. Clients home: if I took care of the clients pets, I would make sure that I followed all the rules given and more.
