About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!

About: I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. I am available weekdays after 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for walks, drop ins, puppy socialization or obedience training. I am fully available on the weekends for boarding, walking, drop-ins, puppy socialization and obedience training. I have 3 extremely friendly small dogs for your fur baby to play with or relax with. I strive to make the dogs that stay here comfortable and as stress free as possible.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 12 years and currently volunteer with the SPCA and with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I help care for and socialize dogs, including future service dogs. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter through WAG while living in NYC, which gave me experience handling many different breeds, temperaments, and routines. I was a dog owner myself and cared for my own dog until he passed, which deepened my understanding of how important patience, consistency, and genuine care are when it comes to pets. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, medication schedules, or calm companionship. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to be very flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. I can easily accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as longer stays when needed. Because I’m home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and consistency, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I always prioritize safety and comfort, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I closely follow instructions, routines, and any special care needs, including feeding schedules and medications.
