About: Since the age of 9 I have worked in the family business of dog rescue and pet grooming. From dog walking, washing, sitting and even assisted in several puppy births, I have seen it all! I have worked extensively with all different breeds and understand the personal, special bond each person has with their furry friend. I hope I can help you with your busy days where you just need an extra hand to know your pup is well cared for while you're out! I am currently working as a registered nurse 3 days a week. I have extra time to walk pups and care for cats on my days off. I will care for your pets as I would care for my own! Love, fun, playing and care. Animals really are so special, they deserve respect!

“Alex did a wonderful job taking care of both my cats while I was away. I will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time I need a cat sitter.”

“Diana was great! On time, very caring with my dogs and I will be using again.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and grew up taking care of my family dogs, so I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. I fostered throughout college and I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a gentler touch. I helped train my family’s three large, working breed dogs and I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering medication, long walks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. Whether you’re looking for drop-in visits, overnight care, or just someone to keep your dog company, I’m here to help make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet! I’m currently working as a elementary school substitute teacher, so am unavailable from 8:30a-3:30p, but have open availability surrounding that. Beginning June 13th, I will be available all summer for daily walks or overnights. I live next to a small park outside of my town center and love to take my family’s dogs on long walks. I’m very respectful of pets personal space, but will give all the attention if they’re into it!

“Great work!”

About: I grew up in a household with a Doberman and 9 cats. Over the years I have had both cats and dogs. Currently I have one dog and 5 cats. My heart dog recently passed. I have three cats that require meds, one of whom is diabetic. I am comfortable with needles as I give insulin twice a day. Also, my pup who passed was paralyzed, so I am skilled at expressing bladders and other tasks involved with disabled pets. I currently work part-time, so I have time to pop over for visits as needed. I generally work from home, so pets are welcome here as long as they are cat-friendly. We have a large fenced-in yard, so if your pup needs to come here for a bit, that is not a problem. I do have 5 cats, so must be cat-friendly. I also have a pug who is vey friendly. Of course I am available for visits in your home as well.

About: As long as I can remember, I have been around dogs. My best friends growing up were a pair of black labs named Tillie and Jodi and my little jack russell named Widget. I grew up feeding, walking and caring for these dogs and I'll always consider them family. In my late teens I worked for Millstone Farmstead in Wilton, CT. There I cared for a variety of animals such as llamas, sheep, pigs, and chickens. I am very comfortable caring for and hanging out with animals (even if they are significantly larger than me like those llamas...) I am currently working as a freelance musician and audio engineer. My schedule is very flexible and I am open to making accommodations for clients. I believe in respect and transparency when it comes to being in someone else's home and especially when caring for their animals. I am happy to send frequent updates and abide by any and all house rules.

“Delphine provided excellent cat sitting services for Bill. She sent frequent updates and photos, keeping me reassured throughout. Bill was clearly well-cared for and happy in her care. Highly recommend!”

16. Laura K.
“"I’ve known Laura for years, and I can honestly say she’s the most reliable, caring, and detail-oriented person I’ve ever met—she even ‘parks between the lines’ in every aspect of her life. Her compassion for animals is truly remarkable; she’s the first to offer help for a stray cat or volunteer to walk a neighbor’s dog. Laura’s integrity, responsibility, and trustworthiness are unparalleled, which means any pet in her care is in the best hands possible. She doesn’t just look after animals—she genuinely loves them, always going the extra mile to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and safe. I wholeheartedly recommend Laura as a pet sitter for anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family."”

If he were to care for an animal on Rover, they would be in the most capable hands! He is always willing to go above and beyond for others. I've also had the pleasure of getting to know Dan's family pets, whom he helped to raise. He has so much experience when it comes to the care of animals, Rover looks like such a natural fit!”
