3. Alexis F.

“Alexis not only genuinely loves dogs but she is responsible and trustworthy. Pleasant and upbeat, she is the kind of person you want coming into your home while you are away. She took great care of my pup and I loved receiving the photos she sent and an activity report after every visit.”

4. Marina S.
“Our pets LOVE when Marina would come to pet sit. She takes great care of them all - two dogs, one cat, fish, and a lizard. I didn't have to worry about our dog's separation anxiety with us being away because she became part of the family in her eyes. We were blessed to have her feed, walk, give medications, and even pick up dog waste for us for up to 10 days at a time. She would also graciously water the plants if needed. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter to all of my friends.”

5. Jennifer B.

8. maria alexandra v.
“I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that Maria loves dogs more than kiddos - and this is a woman who has been hailed as a phenomenal nanny by several families over the last several years. Many people will ask to pet new dogs that they meet, but Maria truly falls in love with every single one. In fact this is true of all animals, but she does have a special place in her heart for doggos. I probably do not have space to write all the stories I could about this part of her life, but here are a few. In addition to the dogs she has cared for while nannying (5 in total), she has had no less than 4 dogs of her own. She has raised newborn puppies, and she has rescued dogs (and cats) that she found abandoned in the street, or that were left by families that could no longer care for them. In fact just the other day she turned the car around when she believed she saw a dog being tied to a pole on the side of the road, but thankfully the owner was only taking a rest and did stay with the animal the entire time. Maria is from Colombia, which has a complicated dog culture. There is an abundance of dogs throughout the country, but they are not always well cared for, and many end up as strays. I personally witnessed her nurture a hungry stray dog while staying at a fancy resort. While the proprietors tried to shoo the animal, thinking it was being bothersome, Maria was actually encouraging the dog to approach. She then calmed him into trusting her so that she could give him some food and water, and he later followed us to our cabana and slept outside. We currently have two dogs in our family, and if I didn’t see it with my own eyes every day, I would not believe two dogs could ever be this happy and comfortable. She does not simply provide them food and water. She rolls around and plays with them whenever they bring her one of their favorite toys, and she lays down with them on whatever surface of the house suits them in the moment. They have so many choices, with 3 beds of their own, a comfy couch and ottoman, and even occasionally our own bed. She bathes them, grooms them, cleans their teeth, and even paints their nails (yes really!). To them, I may be one of their “humans”, but she is truly a part of their pack. Arya, Kathy (our mini French poodles), and Maria would love a chance to share their love with the special furry member of your family, and I promise they will be so very well cared for!!”

9. Brandi L.

“Brandi consistently goes above and beyond for my dog. It’s clear that she loves animals and wants to provide the best service possible for her clients. She communicates very well and takes really good (like… professional quality) photos and videos. Ginger loves her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care in Fairfield county. I plan to book again soon.”

10. Samantha D.

“I am a new Rover user and was nervous about entrusting my 8-month-old puppy to someone I didn't know. But Samantha exceeded expectations in many ways! She clearly loves dogs and was excited to meet my Yogi. She gave him a wonderful walk, made sure he had plenty of water, and even adjusted her schedule to meet our preferred timeline. Yogi was happy as a clam when we got home, and we are thrilled that we now have a reliable sitter to call for future needs.”

11. Kalie J.
“From the day I met Kalie and started becoming friends with her for about a decade now, one of the first things that became obvious to me was how big her heart is for animals. Dogs, cats, you name it, Kalie’s love and respect for her own pets and the pets of those she comes in contact with knows no bounds. She shows that love by providing excellent care and attention to every pet in her home and those she is asked to watch. Kalie is one of the most responsible people and when tasked with an assignment, will complete it with 110% effort. Kalie is also very observant and cautious and won’t put her pets or anyone else’s pets in risky or dangerous situations while on walks and when interacting with them. If you want someone who will represent your company and provide glowing care to your customer’s pets, Kalie is your person.”

12. Nando C.

“Nando is great! Super comfortable and reliable, great communication, and he took great care of our two cats! One is ‘sassy’ and one is ‘scaredy-cat’ and Nando met them both where they were.”

13. Lindsay D.

“Lindsay did a great job with our cats! They were well loved and taken care of and seemed to enjoy her company! She was able to help out an additional day, last minute and was super flexible and easy to communicate with. Cat’s meds were given & food/water/litter were changed/refilled. Came home to a clean house, which is always really nice! Would definitely recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for pet care!”

14. Valentina M.
About: For two years, I have been taking care of pets of different sizes and needs. I love walking dogs, playing with them and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I have experience taking care of both puppies and older pets that need more attention. Your pet will be in the best hands. I currently work part-time, so I have time to take care of your pet. I am available for visits or care during weekends and during the week between 9am and 12pm I take care of pets in their own homes! I understand that cats need a quiet and safe environment, so nothing better than their own home

15. Olivia R.

“Olivia is an amazing sitter. We had a very hectic period of five days and Olivia was beyond helpful: she added onto her agreed responsibilities when we were unable to get home in time to walk our senior dog. Olivia truly knows and thoroughly understands dogs, cats and kittens. She’s efficient and prompt and so very caring of her charges. We highly recommend Olivia as a premier pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had dogs and every pet imaginable in my life. Animals are my happy place. Our home’s atmosphere is nurturing, fun, and full of energy. We will treat your pet like our own. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I will be here around the clock for your pet, giving them lots of love and special care. I have a fenced in yard and a 5 year old pup here to keep your furry friend company. I can easily crate or keep pups separated if that is your wish as well.

17. Jennifer D.

“I contacted Jennifer for help in a pinch, and I am so lucky our paths crossed. She was responsive, followed the instructions I left perfectly, and was great with my pup. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

About: Since the age of 9 I have worked in the family business of dog rescue and pet grooming. From dog walking, washing, sitting and even assisted in several puppy births, I have seen it all! I have worked extensively with all different breeds and understand the personal, special bond each person has with their furry friend. I hope I can help you with your busy days where you just need an extra hand to know your pup is well cared for while you're out! I am currently working as a registered nurse 3 days a week. I have extra time to walk pups and care for cats on my days off. I will care for your pets as I would care for my own! Love, fun, playing and care.
