“Dana did a great job for us. She asked the right questions at the meet and greet and then did what she said when the job went down. I'm a helicopter pet parent and its all about trust. I will definitely have her as our sitter in the future.”

“I had an excellent experience with Cam, who took care of my 2 cats and 2 bunnies while I went on a brief vacation. Cam is reliable and attentive and updated me after each visit with notes and pictures. My pets were happy and relaxed when I returned and my house was spotless. I would definitely rebook with Cam!”

“Lindsay tood great care of my elderly cat for a week and a half while I was out of the country. She kept him fed and with fresh water, gave him his medication, and spent some time socializing him each day. I would happily have her take care of my pet next time we need help!”

“Nicky was great with our two large dogs. The older one, 10, has always been very suspicious of new people, but Nicky cracked the code! Definitely a true dog lover. We will definitely use her services again when needed.”

“Alex was absolutely amazing with my cat, Obake! From the moment we did a meet and greet, I felt completely at ease knowing Obake was in great hands. Alex was incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful—she sent regular updates and photos that showed just how comfortable and happy Obake was while I was away. It’s clear Alex truly loves and understands cats, and Obake adored her in return. I came home to a relaxed, well-cared-for kitty and a spotless home. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate!”

“I was a bit hesitant leaving her with anyone, BUT SHANNIA is fantastic with my English Bulldog! She has a right shoulder injury and Shannia picks my dog up (weighing 54 lbs) up and downstairs! She wipes her 🐾 really good! She is amazing”

About: I have been taking care of my parents dog/house sitting when they go on vacation for many years. I also have dog sat for family friends and my siblings. I am currently working full-time in an elementary school. I am available to stay at your home to take care of your pet before I leave for work, around 8:00 depending on location, then come right back over after work, around 4:00. I am available all day Saturday and Sunday as well. For dog walking I can do late afternoon walks or weekend walks. When doing an overnight, I will occasionally bring my significant other along, for a safety/comfort while in a strangers home, but I will always ask and inform the owners when that would occur. I have slight experience with dogs that have dog/animal aggression. I really enjoy spending time with and love to play with dogs; animals are my preferred company after a long day at work.
“I felt very comfortable going out of town and leaving my new cat in Kathy's care. He's very shy but she managed to see him. There was good communication and I found her to be very caring.”

“So hard to find people to take care of my guinea pigs when I'm away. Nicole did a great job and I could tell how much she loves animals which makes me so much more comfortable leaving my little guys in her care.”
“Was great to have such a lovely caretaker take care of my kitty while I had to travel. Came out before the scheduled time to meet my cat and the reliable communication was great peace of mind! Would recommend and will absolutely use again.”

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs for my whole life. I pet sit and house sit whenever my clients need me! I have taken my own dogs on to become therapy dogs and am comfortable around all breeds! I am flexible on weekends and am happy to do house stays or walks! I have weekend flexibility and often can do walks on Fridays as well. It would be nice to know about night stays ahead of time but other than that I can make day calls work in short notice! “Wendy is great! We had her come walk our dog for two days in a row and then a drop in while we were gone for the day, all in 1 weeks time, and each visit went great! She is very attentive to updates and making sure our Haruki is safe and sound for all walks and visits. Definitely recommend her services!”

About: I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for years! I have had an on and off dog walking business of my own since I was 14, and working in daycares/kennels since I was 16. I have taken care of dogs big and small, and young and old. And I love them all! I am currently a part-time student at UConn Storrs, but I am based out of Norwalk, CT. I am available weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the school year for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. I am in the area full-time on weekdays until January 20th, 2025, for walks, hikes or other fun activities with your doggos! I can work around whatever setup you already have in your home. I have plenty of experience getting dogs in and out of crates/kennels as well as house training my own dogs if crates aren't your thing! Any routine you already have with your dog, I will be able to pick up on and get things done smoothly and safely! Before Rover, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I was trained in administering medicine (pills, creams, wipes etc.) and many dog handling techniques to keep both your doggy and I safe!
