“Our golden retriever stayed for 8 days with Diana and was so happy that he did not want to leave to come home. He was cuddled and loved by the whole family all the time. He became a part of their family. Diana kept me up to date with daily photos which we loved. Highly recommend.”

“Took the time to make sure my pup was at home and comfortable. He can be a little shy at first but Carrigan made sure he felt safe. Unsurprisingly, he seemed to adjust very quickly.”

About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. I’m currently a new grad, and currently looking to start my career while I work part-time. My schedule at this time is pretty open, so multiple times of the day are available! I have 3 friendly terriers that are excited to meet your pup if that’s preferred. I am able to take your pup on walks at their favorite trail/park or in their home space! I can crate your dog if needed, or get them set up with food, water, whatever they need until you’re home!
“Arly was a wonderful sitter for our anxious small dog. She kept us posted throughout her stay which really eased our minds while we were away. It was clear our dog was having a great time with lots of toys. She even clipped our dog’s nails for us. Would definitely recommend Arly as a sitter for your pet!”

“Saori was such a great sitter for our pups (1 year old great pyrenees). She took them to the dog park in the morning for a couple of hours, helped continue our invisibile fence training, and sent us so many pics and updates throughout the weekend. I could tell how happy and comfortable our dogs were in her home and under her care. They came home so tired because they had so much fun with her and the other dogs!”

“Marilyn is WONDERFUL!!! She sent daily pictures and videos of my pup playing outside and snuggling. I never worried about my pup while she was in her care. My dog takes medication as well, and Marilyn had no issues administering the medication.”

“She was a great dog sitter, reliable, caring, and my dog loved her. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. she kept an open line of communication and sent pictures each day to keep me up dated”

“Ivelisse was a wonderful dog sitter, we are so grateful for her thoughtfulness and care of our pups 🐾🐾we got lots of pictures, videos of our pups in her yard from her ring camera, which was really nice. She is polite, caring, communicates well, asks questions, and clearly cares about the dogs she cares for. We will definitely use her again to take care of our dogs!”

“Karine was great with our elderly dog. She was taken care of in every way possible. We would definitely use her again. She and her husband definitely know how to meet the needs of our little old dog.”

“She was very nice with my dog. He had a wonderful time playing with dogs in her house. She took special care in the night as my dog is new to pet sitting. He ate, slept and played well.”

“I went on a last-minute trip, and was having trouble finding a place for my dogs to stay at. I found Farva on rover and it was the best decision I ever made to have my dogs stay with her. She is amazing at taking care of your furry ones. I will definitely be going to her again for any of my future trips! Thank you so much, Farva!”

“Rachael did an awesome job watching our dog Daphne for 2 weeks while we were away for the holidays! She did activities with the dogs every day including taking them on hikes, playing with toys, and running on her huge farm. I never worried about Daphne the whole time we were gone because Rachael took great care of her and sent photos and videos of her everyday to keep us updated! Rachael is the best!”

“Wonderful with our little old girl . Took great care of her and sent adorable pics letting us know how she was doing during her stay. Responds quickly to texts which is a plus ! Highly recommend and will definitely use again for our puppers !”

“Nicole was a FANTASTIC dog sitter/boarder, yet again! We were away for almost two weeks, and she was in touch with us everyday with pictures of our dog as well as updates on what she was up to. It made being away from Ava (our dog) guilt-free as we knew she was having a blast at Nicole's and being so well cared for. We will absolutely be using Nicole again as a dog boarder and would highly recommend her!”

Rusudan and her entire family were great with our dog Sammy. They took amazing care of him and gave him lots of love and attention. Rusudan was also great with sending photos and very responsive to my texts so I did not need to worry about Sammy while we were away. I highly recommend Rusudan and will be happy to have them take care of Sammy the next time we are away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
