About: I have experience caring for a variety of animals but the bulk of my experience has been with dogs. I have carred for dogs of many different breads, ages-including puppies and senior dogs, and needs and I love them all. I am very outdoorsy, and an avid hiker, so if you have a dog who loves the woods and needs a good hike, I'm your gal! In addition to dogs, I am experienced with cats, rabbits, and other small animals. I am currently offering dog walking and pet care services as my primary job. In between taking care of animals I like to spend my free time staying active, spending time with my family, and working on creative projects. In addition to weekly dog walks, I offer the options of both overnight pet and house siting as well as drop in visits. The type of visit is dependent upon the animal and owner's needs. I provide loving attention, a consistent schedule, and lots of play time.
“Cam was absolutely the best! Dependable, friendly, punctual and very communicative...and he clearly loves dogs and they love him! We could not be more grateful for the great care he took of our 10 month old lab, especially during the hottest week of the summer! I'd give him 10 stars if I could!”

“Avery is amazing with our Kaya. She has a friendly, welcoming personality and goes above and beyond. She made sure Kaya had everything she needed, she showed genuine care for our dog. I'm so happy we found this Rover app and found Avery. She was our first dog walker through this app and she helped guide me through the process. We will definitely be calling Avery to help us once she gets back from college. Thank you for being a good human Avery! Kaya can't wait to see you again. 🐶🐾❤️”

About: Hi, I’m Molly! 🐾 I'm so excited to start my Rover journey! While I'm new to Rover, I've been pet sitting for friends and family for the past 6 years, and I absolutely love getting to spend time with animals. I'm going into my senior year of college, and my flexible schedule gives me plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. As a Division I athlete, I love staying active, so whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing outside, or just hanging out, I'm happy to match their energy. And if they're more of a couch potato, that’s great too! I know every pet is different, so I like to stick to their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable while you're away. You'll always get plenty of updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Before we book, I'd love to learn about your pet's personality, routine, and anything that helps them feel at home. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! Skills and Experience: - 6 years of pet sitting for friends and family - Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels - Long walks, playtime, and exercise - Drop-in visits and house sitting I am a student at Sacred Heart University! I'm available any day of the week including weekends. I am available to walks in between classes and visits early and later in the day! Your pet's safety always comes first. I'll follow your care instructions and routine to make sure your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. I'll always secure your home before leaving, make sure your pet has everything they need, and send plenty of updates and photos so you have peace of mind while you're away.
“Hi, Nando was great with my dog Bella recently. We had to leave for a for few days and Nando came to our house to feed and walk her three times a day. He was always on time and very professional. The cost I felt was very reasonable and much cheaper than boarding her in an unknown place. I would highly recommend Nando for your pet needs, walking, feeding, sitting etc. Brian”

About: I have always been passionate about animals which led me to work in veterinary medicine. My job is incredibly rewarding, getting to take care of cats and dogs and learn about the intricacies of maintaining their health. I am now working with aquatic animals as well! I am hard working, considerate and always up for a challenge! I have over 2 years of veterinary experience and a year of dog/ cat sitting experience. Hello! I am a former veterinary technician who is now working full time at the mystic aquarium. I would absolutely love to care for your pets in my free time. I am available on my lunch breaks (1 hour), before and after work and on weekends. I am available for dog walking, house calls and house sitting! I am very organized and maintain a schedule within my work and everyday life. I will tailor my time according to your pets needs, making sure they get their walks, meals and enrichment properly in a way that suits them best!

About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a puggle named Riggs who is almost 2. He is very friendly and loves other dogs. I also have a senior yellow lab named Bailey who is friendly as well. I work in the maritime industry as an engineer and have a lot of free time! I work in the maritime industry so I essentially work 6 months out of the year. I have a lot of free time so most days I’m available to care for a pet. I live in a cottage with a yard. I typically sit outside with my dog and watch him. I typically never let him outside alone and always have him in sight.
About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I have little experience with pet sitting, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have always enjoyed playing with them. There was once that my dog had puppies and I remember seeing her giving birth and my parents caring for them. Today, I can’t have a dog in the house, so I enjoy caring for people’s dogs. My schedule varies so I’m available part-time some week days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and some weekends. I have older kids who also love animals and may tag along with me when they’re available. At home I don’t have pets of my own except for fish, so your dog will have full attention. I can also crate your dog if needed and if you’d like that, otherwise I’m comfortable letting it roam.
“Dependable and caring! I recently moved to the area and Kathy has been stopping by to give my pup a walk every day as I ease back into the office after working from home during the pandemic. Kathy is trustworthy and loves my pup and treats her as well as I do and that’s why I highly recommend her. It’s easy for anyone to show up on time, but hard for someone to really give you peace of mind your furry friend is in great hands. Kathy delivers on both!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young girl. From working in pet stores, to boarding places, dog walking and sitting watching/walking friends and families pets. I started vet school but having children I had to put it on pause for now. I know to give medication, prepare meals bathe and so on. My love for animals is very strong and I’ll treat them just like my own . I’m currently working part time at a day care so which I have mornings and evenings open to take care of them and the weekend are available to watch your pets. I have a full fence in yard which is safe for your dogs to go out to use the potty and play. Inside is a safe environment as well with lots of love and playtime . We do have a older cat , a Guinea pig and a rat terrier who loves other dogs and cats.
“Kate is amazing with our dogs. They are always excited to see her. She is great on walks with them and has the best pictures. She is always able to help last minute as well. We are very happy to have Kate help our dogs.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
