“Iyanna and Tatiana were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They had to deal with a couple of obstacles and came through like champs. They are not only polite to us humans, they were great with our almost 15 year old Morkie. Their communication was second to none. We cannot thank them enough. Thank you both for making our lyric so much easier. We hope to see you again soon. ❤️”

“Alexandra is amazing with our new puppy Pepper! Pepper is always excited to go on walks with her. Alexandra is very responsive, responsible and reliable. She is very knowledgeable and is helping Pepper with different commands and to be more obedient on her leash. Would absolutely recommend Alexandra!”

“Regi is friendly, reliable, and great with our 5 month old puppy. She is teaching him how to walk and she is so patient and loving with him. We are so grateful to have found her. We can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, including pit bulls, golden retrievers, poodles, senior dogs, and tabby cats. I’ve also cared for pets with medication and dietary needs, including both oral and injectable medications. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a long walk, plenty of play and attention, sticking closely to their feeding routine, or simply giving a nervous or senior pet some extra patience, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I’ll keep you updated with how your pet is doing and treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I currently work evening shifts at my family’s restaurant in Darien, so I’m generally available for pet care during the mornings and afternoons, as well as some evenings. My work schedule does not interfere with housesitting, and I’m able to provide attentive care throughout the day and overnight. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m happy to work around my evening schedule and coordinate times that work best for you and your pet. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.
“Wendy came through in a pinch when we needed someone to walk our dog on a freezing night in January when I couldn’t bring our baby out. She was super professional, friendly and warm with our dog.”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Campbell! 🐾 I know how important it is to find someone who cares for your pets the way you do. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping them company while you’re away, I bring patience, reliability, and plenty of love to every visit. I’ve worked with pets of all sizes and personalities, and I pride myself on making sure tails wag, paws stay happy, and owners feel at ease. Think of me as your pet’s new best friend (with a pocket full of treats). Right now I’m lucky enough to have a very flexible schedule, which means pet care can be my top priority. I’m currently between jobs and excited to dedicate my time full-time to caring for pets. Whether it’s weekday walks, weekend drop-ins, or last-minute needs, I have the availability (and energy!) to give your pets the attention they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my first priority. When I’m in your home, I follow your routines closely so your pet feels secure — from feeding times to favorite toys and walking routes. I always double-check leashes, doors, and gates to keep them safe, and I’ll send plenty of updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind while keeping your pet happy, loved, and cared for. My home is a safe, pet-friendly space where your furry family member will feel welcome. I make sure they have a cozy, comfortable environment and lots of love and attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, and snuggles are all part of the routine, and I keep their feeding and care schedule consistent with what they’re used to at home. I treat every pet like my own, so you can relax knowing they’re in a safe, loving environment. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 social and lovable dogs that they will become instant besties with and can keep each other company!
“Dependable and caring! I recently moved to the area and Kathy has been stopping by to give my pup a walk every day as I ease back into the office after working from home during the pandemic. Kathy is trustworthy and loves my pup and treats her as well as I do and that’s why I highly recommend her. It’s easy for anyone to show up on time, but hard for someone to really give you peace of mind your furry friend is in great hands. Kathy delivers on both!”

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs and cats: big or small. I’m super active and love hiking and walking. I own a lovely Cockapoo, a Siberian cat and have two kids. I’m reliable, communicative and responsible. I’ve been working from home and I’m up early to take my dog for a run. Early mornings and weekend requests are no problem. I have a super flexible schedule and in case of conflicts, I can also reach out and offer my college aged daughter, to cover so you don’t have to worry about finding another provider when I’m away. I provide updates on your pet card for your easy of mind. I do this work with my daughters simply because we love pets. We had many clients in Westchester, and just moved to CT.
About: Having grown up in a household bustling with three dogs and three cats, I've been immersed in pet care from a very young age! My hands on experience ranges from raising a German Shepherd to managing the boundless energy of a Husky and the loyal companionship of a Lab—each breed presenting its unique challenges. As a college student, I continue this passion with my beloved dog, Dewey, who is a constant companion. My specialties include embracing long walks (hiking is a favorite), potty training, and dedicating quality time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. As a recent college student with a vast amount of flexibility, I find more time to dedicate to my passion for pet care. Though I work part-time nannying , my free moments are often spent on long walks with my dog, Dewey, or those of my friends. These outings range from early morning walks to peaceful nighttime walks, seamlessly integrating into my daily routine. In my home, I create a welcoming environment for pets by ensuring they have a safe, comfortable space for their little vacation! I prioritize routine, from feeding and exercise to play and rest in my acred fenced backyard, adapting to the individual needs of each pet. When caring for pets in a client's home, I maintain their familiar routines to minimize stress. Since each pet is different, I have to adapt to what they are used to at home to make them comfortable. I also keep thorough communication with owners, providing updates and seeking guidance to tailor my approach according to the pet’s habits and preferences. Whether in my home or theirs, I am committed to providing a nurturing and attentive care environment that meets each pets unique personality!
“Kate is fantastic. I can’t say enough great things about her. My fur baby Sadie is typically nervous around new people as she is a reduce, however, not Kate, when I tell her Kate is coming to walk her, her tail wags and wags. I would highly recommend Kate!!!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
