About: After a bit of a break…I’ve returned to Rover! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years’ of experience caring for dogs and cats. I can’t imagine my life without them. I’ve had pets for the last 20 years and am currently mom to a gentle Spaniel mix, a sassy Calico cat and now a snuggly Tabby cat…all adorable rescues. For years (even before Rover) I’ve helped care for my friends’ and family’s pets. This includes puppies and senior dogs, cats and kittens. I’m extremely cautious and respectful with both animals and humans. I work from home, so have time mostly mornings, lunch time and after 5:00, with more time on weekends. If you're away for a few days - I'll even water you plants! I’ll take care of your cat like my own, yet individualize my visit to meet your and your cat’s specific needs. I’m very communicative and will send lots of photos and updates!
“Kate is fantastic. I can’t say enough great things about her. My fur baby Sadie is typically nervous around new people as she is a reduce, however, not Kate, when I tell her Kate is coming to walk her, her tail wags and wags. I would highly recommend Kate!!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of pit bulls, golden retrievers, and tabby cats! Entrusted by friends and family with their pets, I’ve learned that I have a great affinity for animals (maybe more than I do for people) I currently work evenings at a restaurant, and I’m searching for daytime employment as we speak. In the meantime, I’m open to daytime supervision of animals as well as overnights after work. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.
About: With over 30 years of experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, and fish, I’ve dedicated much of my life to making sure animals are happy, healthy, and loved. From playful puppies to senior cats, energetic birds to peaceful aquariums, I understand that every pet has unique needs and a personality all their own. I’ve also spent years volunteering at animal shelters, giving my time and heart to animals in need. Those experiences taught me patience, compassion, and how to quickly build trust with pets of all temperaments. Whether it’s long walks, cuddle time, feeding, administering medications, or just providing a calm presence, I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to make your pets feel safe and cared for, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I retired from my corporate career in high level accounting and finance roles. Now I am focused on spending my time doing things I love. I love animals! So, my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced in yard and a walkable neighborhood. I also have a mature female dog who is calm and friendly. I believe in making my guest feel welcome and loved.

“Devora was very good watching our dog and other animals for four days while we were away. She came to our house three times per day to walk our dog and feed her at night. She is very good with all animals. Definitely recommend her.”

About: I’ve been a dog mom for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Cockapoo named Chiquita, and growing up, my family dog was Charlie, a Goldendoodle. I currently have two Mini Schnauzers, Catalina and Nacho, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. What sets me apart from other dog walkers is my personal experience as a dog owner and the genuine love and care I give every dog I meet. I truly treat every dog like my own and understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pet. I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make it a priority to help dogs feel safe, happy, and loved. I also happen to be a nurse, so being patient, dependable, attentive, and caring comes naturally to me. Taking care of others is part of my everyday life, and I bring that same level of compassion and responsibility to caring for your fur baby. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by providing dependable care, great communication, and lots of love and attention for your pet. As a nurse, my schedule can vary, but I’m very intentional about my availability and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. When I care for a pet, I make sure they get dependable, attentive, and loving care while keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is always to keep them as comfortable and stress-free as possible by following their normal routine closely. I understand how important consistency is, so I make sure to carefully follow instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, and any other specific needs. I always adjust my care based on each pet’s personality and energy level. Whether they need lots of play and activity or a calm, gentle approach, I make it a priority to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while I’m there. I also know how important communication is, so I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in great hands.

East Norwalk dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer has been absolutely wonderful with our dog. Our dog is always so happy to see her. We’ve also really appreciated how available and flexible she’s been, especially when we’ve needed help last minute. Its such a relief knowing we can count on someone who is so competent, safe, and dependable. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her!

We were SO lucky to have Emilia as our dog walker! She was flexible if we had to adjust the schedule, always left detailed reports after walks, was overly communicative, and our pup Willow always had the best time with her. We’re so sad to be moving out of the area and will no longer have her as our dog walker!!

Katharine is absolutely wonderful! She did an outstanding job taking care of both my adult and puppy golden retrievers. She and professional, reliable and was clearly experienced with dogs of all ages. She was very flexible with our schedules and was able to adjust whenever we needed it, including last minute requests on the weekends. Katharine handled our dogs with skill, patience and care. She followed all of our instructions, gave regular updates and made sure both dogs got the exercise and attention they needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Katharine again would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Lexi was great! She took care of our senior, old and slow pit-mix like he was her own. She came over ahead of time to meet Mason and get a lay of the land. She communicated very well while we were away, and took lots of pictures and videos of Mason along the way so we knew he was being treated well. We look forward to using Lexi again!
