Vet Asst Turned Pet Lover 4 Hire ☀️
Hello! Animals have always been a big part of my life. From caring for my own pets to volunteering and helping animals in my community. That love led me to complete a veterinary assistant certification program in ‘15 and working at an exotic animal hospital in Wilton, CT, where I gained hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals of all ages - from playful puppies to sweet seniors - and I’m comfortable with medications, special diets, and reading each animal’s unique needs and energy. Whether your pet is looking for a long walk or some quiet companionship, I’ll treat them like family! I offer: •🐕 Dog walks (quick strolls or longer hikes) •🐾 In-home sitting (daytime or overnight) •🐈⬛ Cat check-ins (feeding, play, meds) •💊 Experienced with meds, injections, and special care •📸 Detailed updates with love + photos! Can’t wait to meet your best friend(s)!!🐾💚

Ratings and reviews
Katherine is the best. I had to travel for 2 weeks and she made this trip more smooth because I knew my cats was in good hands. She replies fast, follows all the instruction's, and even brought a toy for my cat. Thank you for providing the best care!

Kat did a great job taking care of my 3 cats while I was out of town! She was communicative, sent pictures and updates, and left our house spotless!

Katherine cared for our two dogs, two guinea pigs, and fish while we were away for a week. Her calm and professional demeanor put our pets and me at ease from the first meeting with her. Katherine stayed at our house and took excellent care of everyone, communicated clearly, provided wonderful photo updates, and left our house in perfect order. I highly recommend Katherine and would absolutely hire her again!

- I always want to provide the best care possible, so here are a few things that are helpful to know ahead of time: •Medical needs – Any current health conditions, allergies, medications, or special diets. •Behavior quirks – How your pet reacts to new people, other animals, or certain triggers (loud noises, strangers, etc.). •Routine – What their normal day looks like (feeding schedule, potty breaks, preferred walking routes, etc.). •Comfort items – Favorite toys, treats, or habits that help them feel safe and at ease. •Commands/training – Any cues or hand signals your pet knows (especially helpful for walks or playtime). Even the little things help me care for your pet the way you would. 💚
