Safety, trust & environment

For your pet’s comfort and safety, I provide care in your home, where they feel most secure in their familiar environment. Whether it’s dog sitting, cat sitting, daily walks and visits, or caring for exotic pets, I ensure every animal feels loved, safe, and stress-free while you’re away. I treat each pet as my own - with patience, compassion, and dependable care.

Information Katherine S. would like to know about your pet

I always want to provide the best care possible, so here are a few things that are helpful to know ahead of time: •Medical needs – Any current health conditions, allergies, medications, or special diets. •Behavior quirks – How your pet reacts to new people, other animals, or certain triggers (loud noises, strangers, etc.). •Routine – What their normal day looks like (feeding schedule, potty breaks, preferred walking routes, etc.). •Comfort items – Favorite toys, treats, or habits that help them feel safe and at ease. •Commands/training – Any cues or hand signals your pet knows (especially helpful for walks or playtime). Even the little things help me care for your pet the way you would. 💚

A typical day

Whether I’m house sitting, stopping in for a visit, or taking your pup for a walk, I keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Mornings usually start with fresh water, breakfast, and a nice walk or potty break to get the day going. During the day, I provide drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, cuddles, litter box care for cats, and medication if needed. Walks can be short potty breaks or longer adventures to burn energy and give plenty of sniff time. Evenings wrap up with dinner, extra love, and winding down together if I’m staying overnight. Throughout it all, I’ll send photo updates so you feel connected and reassured that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Pet care experience

Hello! Animals have always been a big part of my life. From caring for my own pets to volunteering and helping animals in my community. That love led me to complete a veterinary assistant certification program in ‘15 and working at an exotic animal hospital in Wilton, CT, where I gained hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals of all ages - from playful puppies to sweet seniors - and I’m comfortable with medications, special diets, and reading each animal’s unique needs and energy. Whether your pet is looking for a long walk or some quiet companionship, I’ll treat them like family! I offer: •🐕 Dog walks (quick strolls or longer hikes) •🐾 In-home sitting (daytime or overnight) •🐈‍⬛ Cat check-ins (feeding, play, meds) •💊 Experienced with meds, injections, and special care •📸 Detailed updates with love + photos! Can’t wait to meet your best friend(s)!!🐾💚
