Some of my skills: -minor experience with large dogs (mastiff, great Dane) -I work with dogs with separation anxiety often - I have some experience with reactive dogs - medium to complex feeding routines (some dogs I've fed have multiple ingredients/pills added to food) I've worked with many animals over the years and as a child my house was frequently referred to as the zoo house. Over my live I've lived with reptiles, rodents, birds, and most of all dogs and cats. Since I was raised in an animal house, I grew up wanting to rescue and help abandoned, stray, disabled, and senior pets. I am a pet caregiver as a full time job to learn how to care for pets in the best way, because animals have always felt like home to me and being without them makes life feel a bit empty. I'm hoping to be able to support myself and the pets I want to rescue with this job, and bring some stress-relief to pets when their parents aren't home!

I take care of pets by keeping a close eye on them and consistently checking in on what they might need. With 3 pets of my own I'm used to constantly checking water, scheduled feedings, and making sure they get plenty of exercise. I also specialize in talking to animals about everything and anything!

Alexis was so great with my dog while I was away. She coordinated with my MIL whose house he was staying in. She was very attentive to his health and safety. Most importantly my dog was always so excited to see her for his walks. I would absolutely love to work with her again - kind and trustworthy!

Schedule
I'm currently unemployed which means I'll have tons of availability and free-time to give your pets the best care possible! I also have a rotating sleep schedule so I'm usually available for all different times.

- Routine is usually what helps keep animal stress-free so I always love to know the breakdown beforehand! Any medications or wellness treats are also important! Do they love certain treats? Are they fans of cuddling in bed? Have a favorite ball? Any specifics help make sure I give your pet the best experience!
