About: I started dog sitting when I was in 6th grade and have been taking care of pets since then. “Tina and Jon went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely at ease leaving our 5-year-old Italian Greyhound in their care while we traveled to Canada. They provided consistent updates throughout our entire trip, sending a plethora of videos and photos that kept us connected to our pup. The fenced-in backyard was a fantastic perk, and we loved seeing all the adventures she went on with them. If you are looking for a five-star pet sitter, Tina and Jon are the ones for you!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats ever since I was 15 years old. I used to take care of my sister’s cat very often when she was in college and I still occasionally pet-sit for her. I also have my own cat that I’ve taken care of for the past three years.
“Hillary was great at handling all my questions since the day I was leaving my cat started having issues with his eye. She followed my snack and medicine request perfectly and made sure everything in the house was secure before she left. Both cats were happy and well taken care of.”

“Couldn’t recommend Marcelline enough! Booked her again to watch my cat while I was traveling for labor day weekend. She was incredibly communicative and thoughtful of my pet’s needs. She is not the kind to just drop in for a few minutes, give your cat a little bit of attention, feed them and then go home. She actually cares for your animal and makes sure they are properly being taken care of while you’re away. I felt so at peace leaving Nina with her for the 2nd time and I definitely plan on rebooking Marcelline again!”

“Caitlin is a wonderful sitter! She sends great updates and really cares about making sure that our cat is well loved and well fed. She also goes above and beyond taking care of our garden and other house-related things like taking in mail, putting out trash, etc. We have used her twice now and can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“It was my first time using Rover and Jenn did a great job taking care of my cat, Luna. Luna was a bit nervous and Jenn took the time to make her comfortable and they were best friends by the end! I would definitely book Jenn again in the future.”

“Extremely impressed with Maria taking care of my cat. My cat is newly rescued and very scared of people. While I was away my cat found some places I didn't even know were possible to hide that were probably not very safe for a cat. Maria went out of her way to get my cat out, and prevent her from going back. By the end of the week my cat was even opening up a bit towards her.”

“I know when my Scribbins is well taken care of in my absence. She is relaxed and calm and content when I return from being away. And Patricia did a fantastic job with her. I highly recommend Patricia.”

“Pam was so great with our two kitties while we were away. She was on time every day and we truly appreciated the extra steps she took like vacuuming and offering to take out the trash. Would definitely book again. Thanks!”

“Thanks again KathyG. and thanks for the pics of Norris... outside, inside, eating, then shacked up in his cave. i like the side view pic of him eating bcuz it gives me a chance to eyeball his collar and make sure its still on.”

“Jenny is my favorite sitter on Rover! I not only trust her with my pets, but I can see how happy they are when she visits in her pictures (which are always great and numerous)! I highly recommend Jenny as a sitter! She’s the best!”

“Kevin was a great sitter to watch both my dogs. He was able to accommodate last minute day care booking on Christmas day and when an emergency popped up during christmas, he was very nice to help out and have both my dogs stay overnight. He sent in pictures and videos of them on hikes and having a fenced yard was a plus! they were great with the other dogs he has in the house. Came to pick up my dogs and they looked so happy- usually will bark and whine when they see their mommy but this time they just jumped in exciment. It made me happy that both my dogs were at peace and calm at someones house they did not know; espically my senior dog who has major seperation anixety from being attached to me, she did so well and looked very calm which made me happy. After picking the dogs up from his house, they were passed out on the ride home. I would recommend Kevin when caring for your dogs. He responds well and is very nice and will treat the dogs like they are his own.”

“Elaine was very accommodating when we had to change our drop off time to earlier. Magnus came home exhausted so we think he must have played all day! We would feel comfortable bringing him to Elaine again. Thank you.”

“Lena is a true professional dog carer..she took the time my dogs needed to feel comfortable with them. Very accomodating to their individual quirks, truly feel they are safe and happy in her care. Grateful to have found her! Also, bonus, her son is wonderful and my Midge is in LOVE with him.”

“Val ( and family ) were absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute booking for our dog, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the week, she sent lots of photos and videos, keeping us updated and reassured that our pup was happy and well cared for. It was clear she treated our dog like family, and we could tell how much love and attention she gave. We came home to a healthy, happy dog, and we’re so grateful for her exceptional care. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely use her again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Tatiana! Animals have always been part of my life, but in the last years I realized that I have a natural talent for training and working with dogs. What started as a passion has now become my full-time profession. I have hands-on experience with pets of all ages and temperaments — from playful puppies to senior dogs, from shy or anxious pets to those with more challenging behaviors. I focus on creating calm, safe, and structured environments so every dog feels secure and understood. Along with pet sitting and walks, I also integrate basic training and positive reinforcement into my care, helping pets build good habits and confidence. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in reliable and loving hands. 💕 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Since I work independently and have a flexible schedule, I can easily dedicate my time to walks, play, feeding, and any special needs your pet may have. I make sure to structure my day so that pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine, I always create a calm and secure environment. I pay close attention to their routines, behaviors, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced in working with both dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments, including pets that may be shy, anxious, or require medication. My goal is to ensure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away.
About: Animals are my life! They literally flock to me and I've always had a way with my furry friends. In my childhood my German Shepard, Flash, was the love of my life and always loved energetic play, beach runs, and playing in the dunes. I handle dogs both big and small and my current client has a tiny teacup mix, Riley, who despite his ten years of age, will play fetch for hours on end. He does have a heart condition and problem with his trachea, so being careful during walks (not letting him pull the leash too hard) and making sure he doesn't overwork his little heart are two safety concerns to always be mindful of. I also regularly dog sit Riley for weekend stay overs and make sure to stay with him in the bed so he is comfortable. Having grown up with all kinds of pets like parakeets, dogs, and guinea pigs (just to name a few) I've literally learned to "talk to the animals" and it's easy for me to familiarize with new pets and their needs very quickly. I'm very high-energy and can take your dog for an energetic walk at a comfortable based based on their health or general needs. And If you want your pup in tip top shape I can jog with them for hours and incorporate other fun games and exercises in the mix. I'm currently a full time "Rover" so my schedule is fairly open. I'm flexible in terms of last-minute bookings as well. The same flexibility applies if you would like to book a day or overnight sitter. I live on High Ridge Rd in Stamford near the Merritt so I'm only about 10 minutes away from the Mianus River State Park and 7 minutes from the Stamford dog park
“Tina & Jon were such wonderful hosts. Our puppy couldn't stop telling us how much fun she had running around in their big back fenced yard with their 2 fur babies. Tina & Jon took such great care of her. We highly recommend their services.”

“Anna was so kind and patient with our huge, shy, 9.5 month old Great Dane. We had never left her with anyone and I was very nervous! But, Anna sent photos and assured me Pepper was having fun... when we went to pick her up she was sad to leave Anna! We are so thankful to have found Anna and will definitely plan for another stay for Pepper. Highly recommended!!”

About: Hello! My name is Skyler and I am currently a mammal trainer at an AZA accredited aquarium with a background in veterinary care. I would love to help walk your dog, whether you have certain training goals or just needing extra help while you are at work! I started my career by walking my friend’s crazy, (but adorable) puppy in high school. I was able to help train the puppy during every walk, and left her tired out when her owner got home. I am off two of the busiest days of the week- Monday and Tuesday. I have full availability to do drop ins, daycare, or dog walks! I have an unfenced yard and plenty of grass out front. I take frequent trips to my local park that has tons of room to play.

About: I’ve taken care of pit bulls, golden retrievers, and tabby cats! Entrusted by friends and family with their pets, I’ve learned that I have a great affinity for animals (maybe more than I do for people) I currently work evenings at a restaurant, and I’m searching for daytime employment as we speak. In the meantime, I’m open to daytime supervision of animals as well as overnights after work. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.
“Dependable and caring! I recently moved to the area and Kathy has been stopping by to give my pup a walk every day as I ease back into the office after working from home during the pandemic. Kathy is trustworthy and loves my pup and treats her as well as I do and that’s why I highly recommend her. It’s easy for anyone to show up on time, but hard for someone to really give you peace of mind your furry friend is in great hands. Kathy delivers on both!”

I’ve sat in on a few training classes and can start with puppy training. During the summer time. I’m working part time so I’m available all afternoon or weekends to play and take care our your dog. My schedule will change in September. I’m not available for boarding right now, but can take care of your pet in the space they’re most at ease, in their home. I grew up with 3 dogs and 2 cats and have tons of experience with walking, training, and other pet care! I work full time and get off around 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and can assist with early morning walks/care or evening to late evening. I am limited on caring for dogs in my apartment due to apartment policies. However, short stays can be arranged! I live with just myself in a community and no longer have pets in my care.
“This is the 3rd time Judy has watched my little guy and he truly lives like the king he is while under her care! We will definitely keep using Judy as long as she'll have us :)”

“Clinton & his son were terrific. Our dog, Ripley, came home very happy. She got along very well with their dog and they kept each other company. We also received photos while we were away which was great.”

“John is the best! I have a new baby English bulldog and I had to go on a last minute work trip and he eased my mind about everything. I highly recommend! My puppy came back happy, healthy, and totally tired! He had the best time and I can’t wait to rebook.”

“Elvia is the best! Our dachshund loves her and so do we. Super reliable and takes such good care of our pup. We’ve used Elvia for both daytime and overnights and would highly recommend!”

“Charlotte was amazing and we will absolutely use her again! Our older boy had a bunch of different medicines to take at different points throughout the day and she was so organized and great with communication. She even went out to multiple stores to find the right low fat wet food he ran out of! Thank you Charlotte!”

“Nandita took great care of my rambunctious, attention seeking golden retriever Alf! She sent update pictures frequently and seemed to genuinely love spending time with Alf. Her dog Ozzy had lots of energy and played so nicely with Alf and I’m sure he’s be happy to stay at their home any time!”

“Julie was very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had before or during our dog’s stay. She even sent some updates to let us know our dog was having a good time. Definitely recommend using her!”

“Kathryn is probably the best Rover sitter we’ve had (and we’ve used some lovely sitters). Our dogs are anxious when they’re left, and Kathryn really helped them feel at ease - her fenced yard was perfect and they just seemed to trust her. I’d highly recommend booking your pet’s stay with her!”

“We were grateful to find Michelle before a last-minute pet-free camping trip. And even more pleased to see photos of how happy and entertained our dog was staying with her. We actually extended how long he stayed with her a bit because he seemed to be having so much fun. He came home happy and tired.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young girl. From working in pet stores, to boarding places, dog walking and sitting watching/walking friends and families pets. I started vet school but having children I had to put it on pause for now. I know to give medication, prepare meals bathe and so on. My love for animals is very strong and I’ll treat them just like my own . I’m currently working part time at a day care so which I have mornings and evenings open to take care of them and the weekend are available to watch your pets. I have a full fence in yard which is safe for your dogs to go out to use the potty and play. Inside is a safe environment as well with lots of love and playtime . We do have a older cat , a Guinea pig and a rat terrier who loves other dogs and cats.
