“Mark was great with my boys. He was very attentive and kind. Me being away for a week is real stressful for my cats, but he made them feel at ease and comfortable. He even took quality time to play with the kitten, which made the kitten so happy. Mark was great with communicating and keeping me updated with the visits. I would use Mark again and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional sitter who is kind, gentle and caring.”

“Molly was great with Bella! Communication was on point (quick responses and always confirmed a day before), received cute photos of Bella playing in the backyard, seems like they had the best time! Would absolutely trust Molly again with my dog!”

“I am a new Rover user and was nervous about entrusting my 8-month-old puppy to someone I didn't know. But Samantha exceeded expectations in many ways! She clearly loves dogs and was excited to meet my Yogi. She gave him a wonderful walk, made sure he had plenty of water, and even adjusted her schedule to meet our preferred timeline. Yogi was happy as a clam when we got home, and we are thrilled that we now have a reliable sitter to call for future needs.”

“Was great to have such a lovely caretaker take care of my kitty while I had to travel. Came out before the scheduled time to meet my cat and the reliable communication was great peace of mind! Would recommend and will absolutely use again.”

“Lana came to take care of our cat while we were on vacation and we couldn’t have been happier with her services! She made sure our little guy had a clean litter box every day, refilled his wet food feeder, and even offered treats and some play time. We will absolutely be booking Lana in the future whenever we need to go out of town!”

“Pam was so great with our two kitties while we were away. She was on time every day and we truly appreciated the extra steps she took like vacuuming and offering to take out the trash. Would definitely book again. Thanks!”

“Alexandra took excellent care of our two cats while we were away, taking time to get to know them and play with them each visit. We were thrilled they were in such good hands and will definitely ask Alexandra to help us again.”

“I felt very comfortable going out of town and leaving my new cat in Kathy's care. He's very shy but she managed to see him. There was good communication and I found her to be very caring.”

About: I have multiple years of experience petsitting, volunteering at animal shelters, and caring for pets of my own. I’m also knowledgeable about animals body language and behavior, which play a huge role in working with reactive, fearful, or under-socialized pets. I’m a college student spending the summer at home, so my hours are pretty flexible, and I’m more than happy to work around my client’s schedules. When doing drop-in visits, I typically feed your pet first before completing any additional tasks you need taken care of (grooming, cleaning, scooping litter boxes, etc.). Once your pets are done eating, I can give them up to an hour of play/social time before i leave, depending on how much energy they tend to have.

“Sophia was fantastic! We left our 4 year old lab Piper alone in our house for the first time and were nervous about her doing well with someone she didn't know. Worry not! Piper obviously loved Sophia. The pictures she sent proved it! Sophia followed all of our instructions, including the dispensing of meds, without fail. And was incredibly responsive to our questions and need for updates. Thank you Sophia! We'll be calling on you again!”

“I contacted Jennifer for help in a pinch, and I am so lucky our paths crossed. She was responsive, followed the instructions I left perfectly, and was great with my pup. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”
“Poppy LOVES spending her hour with you! She is always so tired from her walk and the photos we get are amazing! You are so flexible and always so accommodating! We know Poppy is well taken care of when she’s with you”

About: I grew up in a household where dogs weren't just pets—they were family. While I’ve spent my life loving and caring for dogs, I’ve chosen to wait on getting my own to ensure I can eventually give one the full-time attention they deserve. My wife encouraged me to start dog walking because she knows how much joy I find in connecting with animals. My goal is to provide your dog with the same level of care, patience, and affection I’d give my own. Whether it’s an energetic walk or a cozy drop-in visit, I look forward to keeping your pets happy, active, and well-loved! Monday – Wednesday (Office Days): I offer "Sunrise & Sunset" sessions. I’m available for brisk morning walks before 8:00 AM to start their day right, or evening strolls after 6:00 PM to help them wind down. Thursday & Friday (Home Office): I have mid-day flexibility. Since I work from home these days, I can drop in for lunch-time relief or afternoon playtime. Weekends: Full availability. I’m off and ready for longer adventure walks or extended visits! New Canaan cat parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke is fantastic! I highly recommend her I left so many confusing instructions about my not-so-friendly, finicky cat and Brooke just rolled with it. Absolutely no judging when I explained that she’d need to open the door, wait a few seconds… then close the door and repeat numerous times until my cat finally agreed to go outside. (My cat is obnoxious) She came to the house even in a snow storm. Brooke really is wonderful and I hope you’ll be lucky enough to have her !
