“Lana came to take care of our cat while we were on vacation and we couldn’t have been happier with her services! She made sure our little guy had a clean litter box every day, refilled his wet food feeder, and even offered treats and some play time. We will absolutely be booking Lana in the future whenever we need to go out of town!”

“Natalia did a great job looking after my cats. They are shy but she did a good job finding them in their hiding spots, and she did a good job communicating with us while we were away.”

“Mark was great with my boys. He was very attentive and kind. Me being away for a week is real stressful for my cats, but he made them feel at ease and comfortable. He even took quality time to play with the kitten, which made the kitten so happy. Mark was great with communicating and keeping me updated with the visits. I would use Mark again and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional sitter who is kind, gentle and caring.”

“Pam was so great with our two kitties while we were away. She was on time every day and we truly appreciated the extra steps she took like vacuuming and offering to take out the trash. Would definitely book again. Thanks!”

“I am a new Rover user and was nervous about entrusting my 8-month-old puppy to someone I didn't know. But Samantha exceeded expectations in many ways! She clearly loves dogs and was excited to meet my Yogi. She gave him a wonderful walk, made sure he had plenty of water, and even adjusted her schedule to meet our preferred timeline. Yogi was happy as a clam when we got home, and we are thrilled that we now have a reliable sitter to call for future needs.”

“Ginger is such a great dog sitter! She was communicative about her visits with our pup and spent lots of time petting and playing with her. We would definitely recommend Ginger and plan on booking with her again in the future!”

About: I grew up in a household where dogs weren't just pets—they were family. While I’ve spent my life loving and caring for dogs, I’ve chosen to wait on getting my own to ensure I can eventually give one the full-time attention they deserve. My wife encouraged me to start dog walking because she knows how much joy I find in connecting with animals. My goal is to provide your dog with the same level of care, patience, and affection I’d give my own. Whether it’s an energetic walk or a cozy drop-in visit, I look forward to keeping your pets happy, active, and well-loved! Monday – Wednesday (Office Days): I offer "Sunrise & Sunset" sessions. I’m available for brisk morning walks before 8:00 AM to start their day right, or evening strolls after 6:00 PM to help them wind down. Thursday & Friday (Home Office): I have mid-day flexibility. Since I work from home these days, I can drop in for lunch-time relief or afternoon playtime. Weekends: Full availability. I’m off and ready for longer adventure walks or extended visits! I take care of them as if they are my own and do my best to honor any and all requests. For doggy daycare and for boarding, I create a safe, relaxing & playful home for your dog with loads of love & snuggles mixed in. I have a 5 yr old cairn terrier who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. My furry friends make themselves right at home in our house and outside in our fully fenced-in backyard. We also live in a safe walkable neighborhood that is very pet-friendly for dog walks. I have been around dogs my whole life but have been professionally walking dogs and boarding dogs part time for about 2 years. I am now looking to expand my clientele and would to love to set up a meet & greet or talk over the phone! **For doggy daycare, please note, I only have dogs that are great around children and other dogs and have updated vaccines.** For doggy daycare, your pup will never be left home alone for more than 2 hours (I can absolutely make accommodations to be home more if requested). Sleeping preference is whatever they like best. We love to play, go for walks and chill with all our doggo friends!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every age, shape, size, personality…you name it! Caring for them is very intuitive to me— I am able to read them well and respond accordingly. I have also cared for dogs with physical ailments or disabilities, and provide an extra level of compassion and attention when working with pups that may have more specific needs. I am currently working part time, and as a freelancer have a pretty flexible schedule. I do need some notice if you request that I stay for more than a few hours at a time, so I can plan work around your schedule accordingly . At other peoples homes, I respect whatever rules/restrictions you may have. I’ll make sure meals are provided on time to your specification, and potty breaks at regular intervals. I will also ensure abundant playtime and of course exercise!
“Devora did a great job watching our new rescue puppy for a week while we were away. We are still in training mode and Devora helped a great deal in getting closer to our goal. We highly recommend Devora for your pet sitting needs.”

New Canaan cat parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke is fantastic! I highly recommend her I left so many confusing instructions about my not-so-friendly, finicky cat and Brooke just rolled with it. Absolutely no judging when I explained that she’d need to open the door, wait a few seconds… then close the door and repeat numerous times until my cat finally agreed to go outside. (My cat is obnoxious) She came to the house even in a snow storm. Brooke really is wonderful and I hope you’ll be lucky enough to have her !
