A typical day
I love to take dogs out for hikes at the park. I do this with our dog. I have a long leash that allows him to run in the fields while staying on a leash. It’s great for throwing the ball to him and having him chase it and return it.

Pet care experience
Growing up my parents always introduced me as “the child that brings all the animals home”. I have had a love for animals since I can remember. I grew up having dogs, hamsters, fish anything I could bring home and care for. I currently have a dog and a cat and would love to adopt more. Since I wasn’t able to follow my passion for animals as a career, I volunteer my time at a local animal shelter. Rover gives me the opportunity to help other pet owners while still fulfilling my passion for animals. Samantha provided drop in visits for our 3 cats while we were away on vacation. She was super friendly, reliable and an excellent communicator. She was also accommodating to our specific requests and we were able to relax knowing that our cats and house were in amazing hands while we were away. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for Aikido! Samantha was absolutely wonderful. Provided me with regular updates and photos throughout the day, which put my mind at ease. Aikido clearly had a great time under Samantha’s care. I’ll definitely be booking Samantha again in the future!
