About: I am an animal lover through and through! I’ve been taking care of many different types of dogs and cats since as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats, and I am more than willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal in particular. When I come to care for, play with, and walk your pet, I will dedicate my time to truly loving them. I have experience staying at owners houses to take exceptional full-time care of their pets, and I also have experience keeping pets in my home! I have practiced basic animal training such as teaching dogs and cats to sit, stay, and shake. I truly adore animals and I will enjoy every minute of caring for your fur-babies! I am currently an Elementary Education student at the University of Connecticut, but I have tons of free time to take care of pets, whether that be for drop-ins or for more personal care in my home! Currently I am available full-time and I can accept last minute bookings. While dropping in to care for your pets, I will of course be incredibly respectful of your space, going only in the rooms I am allowed and touching only the items needed to care for your animals :) To care for animals in my own apartment, I have made sure that potentially hazardous items (small items, food, plants, etc.) are all put away/placed at a height that dogs and cats cannot reach. While I do not have a fenced yard, there are several parks around my apartment where I can consistently take your dog out on long walks. In my home, animals are also allowed on beds and couches! Please let me know if your pet requires any specific accommodations or changes to the environment :)
About: With over 6 years of experience working in veterinary hospitals and over 10 years of caring for pets, your babies will be in great hands. I have 2 large dogs, 3 cats, and a snake! I have also fostered various other individuals over the years (including a mama with 7 kittens and a geriatric pitbull.) About: I've cared for Samoyeds my whole life, including litters from several of my own dogs. I've also looked after neighborhood dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas to German shepherds, so I'm comfortable with pets big and small. Since my main career is remote, I'm home to keep an eye on dogs throughout the day. My own pets get a morning and evening walk plus feeding, so there's a consistent routine your dog can settle into. Your dog's safety is always the top priority. If everyone in the house needs to step out and there aren't enough eyes to keep watch, I use a crate to keep things calm and secure until someone's back. And if you'd prefer I stay with your dog the whole time instead, that's absolutely fine too — happy to work with whatever makes you most comfortable.
About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. My neighbors have also relied on me to take care of their dog when they are away. I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! Currently, I’m completely available in the summer! I begin graduate school in September, but have no time constraints in the meanwhile, asides from when I’m away. I can accommodate all types of diets, raw kibble, and specialty foods. I currently work full-time however I have a rotating schedule so I can often pet sit and drop in weekdays if needed and weekends.
