“I had another wonderful experience with Monika and her adorable dog, Lexi, during my dog’s recent daycare stay! This was my second time using Rover, and once again, Monika went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. From the very beginning, she was responsive, warm, and flexible, accommodating my schedule. My dog can be a bit cautious around new faces, but after spending time with Monika, he was calm, content, and in great spirits when I picked him up. Monika also kept me updated throughout the day with pictures of my dog , which really put my mind at ease and made me feel like he was in great hands. It’s clear that Monika genuinely cares about the pets she watches, and her dog Lexi is just as sweet and friendly, which made the experience even better. I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received, and I’m already looking forward to booking with Monika again. If you're looking for someone reliable, loving, and experienced, I highly recommend Monika! You can trust her to provide a safe, welcoming environment for your furry friend.”

“We needed someone to take care of our buddy while we were in town for an engagement party. Anner was quick to respond and we felt very comfortable leaving Jackson with him! Highly recommend him and would use his service again.”

“Irene has made my experience using Rover so easy and carefree. This is my first time leaving my dog, and she is extremely confident with her handling. I enjoy the pictures and updates she sends me throughout the day too!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

“Rafa LOVES Andrea. Rafa had a very full visit with Andrea and came home happy and exhausted. Andrea is very friendly and (obviously) loves dogs. She treats your dog like he is her own and I felt so comfortable leaving Rafa there. It was wonderful to have an evening out, knowing he was well cared for while also having a ball.”

“We were visiting from out of town and needed daycare over the holidays. Laurie was available and amazing. Ollie was safe and happy and she sent lots of pictures to reassure us. How lucky we were to find her!”

“Kevin was a great sitter to watch both my dogs. He was able to accommodate last minute day care booking on Christmas day and when an emergency popped up during christmas, he was very nice to help out and have both my dogs stay overnight. He sent in pictures and videos of them on hikes and having a fenced yard was a plus! they were great with the other dogs he has in the house. Came to pick up my dogs and they looked so happy- usually will bark and whine when they see their mommy but this time they just jumped in exciment. It made me happy that both my dogs were at peace and calm at someones house they did not know; espically my senior dog who has major seperation anixety from being attached to me, she did so well and looked very calm which made me happy. After picking the dogs up from his house, they were passed out on the ride home. I would recommend Kevin when caring for your dogs. He responds well and is very nice and will treat the dogs like they are his own.”

“Luke took care of Haru very well. He understands she needs a little more attention than adult dog, and made her happy. He sent her photos and she looked so relaxed. Highly recommended and I will book again for sure.”

“I wish there was a 10 Star Designation for Kyle! From our Meet/Greet til just coming home from picking up King, Kyle was above/beyond - My dog King felt comfortable immediately with him & at drop off he didn’t even look back and came home Pleasantly tired - Team Kyle Rocks!”

“Elaine was so great with Stark and has so many features to her property to ensure the safety of the dogs she cares for! Not to mention, she has animals of her own so Stark had friends to play with!”

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
About: I have been caring for and grooming dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, and I am comfortable with both dogs and cats. I am always available for pet sitting, I work from home and I am more likely available for the weekdays and weekends to pet sit. I have a big yard that my two dogs love to run around in. My dogs are friendly and can keep your dogs company if you want and if not I can separate the dogs and they won’t have to interact with each otherr, and I have crates if needed.

“John was great and took great care of my 3 month old puppy. Will definitely be using him again in the future. The awesome pictures he took were an added bonus. Highly recommend him.”

“Lily is down to earth and I felt comfortable leaving my pups with her for the day. Her property is also nice for my pups to roam outside. I received photos and videos periodically throughout the day with updates on how my babies were doing. I will definitely book again!”

About: Our business has been booming with referrals and friends/family requests. Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.
“Val ( and family ) were absolutely amazing! We needed a last-minute booking for our dog, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the week, she sent lots of photos and videos, keeping us updated and reassured that our pup was happy and well cared for. It was clear she treated our dog like family, and we could tell how much love and attention she gave. We came home to a healthy, happy dog, and we’re so grateful for her exceptional care. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely use her again in the future!”
