The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

During my dog’s stay Nandita sent regular photos and videos so that while I was away I always knew that my pup was content and happy. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
About: I have been caring for and grooming dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, and I am comfortable with both dogs and cats. I am always available for pet sitting, I work from home and I am more likely available for the weekdays and weekends to pet sit. I have a big yard that my two dogs love to run around in. About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. While I do not have a fenced yard, there are several parks around my apartment where I can consistently take your dog out on long walks. In my home, animals are also allowed on beds and couches! About: I have cared for puppies to seniors. Knowing their needs is very important for their ultimate well being. I have also have hospice care experience. I am currently taking care of pets full time. Consisting of daily walks, hiking, snuggling and lots of love. Whatever their needs are I am here to help. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 12 years and currently volunteer with the SPCA and with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I help care for and socialize dogs, including future service dogs. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter through WAG while living in NYC, which gave me experience handling many different breeds, temperaments, and routines. I was a dog owner myself and cared for my own dog until he passed, which deepened my understanding of how important patience, consistency, and genuine care are when it comes to pets. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, medication schedules, or calm companionship. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to be very flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. I can easily accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as longer stays when needed. Because I’m home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and consistency, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I always prioritize safety and comfort, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I closely follow instructions, routines, and any special care needs, including feeding schedules and medications. I’m attentive to behavior and environment, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets feel calm and safe at all times. I treat every home and pet with respect, care, and responsibility.
About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m going to college in September, so I’m not available for long term arrangements that go past summer. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.

The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

We set up a meeting ahead of time to make sure my rescue would get along well with her dog Ozzy and my pup was immediately comfortable with her (you can tell she’s a dog person!) and she helped him get comfortable and acclimate to her space before we confirmed- this really put me at ease. During my dog’s stay Nandita sent regular photos and videos so that while I was away I always knew that my pup was content and happy. She has excellent communication throughout the whole planning and visit and as an added bonus her space is perfect for a dog stay especially her backyard, dog friendly neighborhood, etc. I look forward to booking with Nandita again and really think she is an incredible dog sitter. “I was so fortunate to have found Anastasiia to watch our dog Axel when we traveled to Europe. We had booked a sitter who cancelled - leaving us with very little time to find another over the holiday season. We had Anastasiia was reasonably priced compared to some of the other sitters available (watch out for price gouging during the holidays). I had booked someone who was less expensive but when we did the meet and great, I saw that they were using Rover to run a kennel: 10 dogs kept in an 8x6 garage - with no one home! I took a chance on Anastasiia because she is new to Rover. When I met her in her home, I could tell right away that Axel would be in good hands! The home is charming and so was Anastasiia's partner :-). During Axel's stay he got to go to the park and play and even got to go on a hike. Anastasiia asked me if it was ok to take him and how he was in the car. The pictures of their adventure made me smile :-). I was sent lots of pictures during Axel's stay - most either playing or lounging lol Axel was in good spirits when we picked him up. I felt comfortable and confident that my family member was being given good care while we were overseas. I highly recommend.”
