I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. I’m currently a new grad, and currently looking to start my career while I work part-time. My schedule at this time is pretty open, so multiple times of the day are available! About: I completed my senior internship at a local animal shelter. During my internship I was trained to work with cats and kittens. I am used to cleaning up after them. and have spent time with cats of a variety of temperaments, including former city cats and very playful cats. I helped to feed and water the cats. While I don’t currently work with cats in the shelter in an official capacity and don’t have cats of my own, I am familiar with their needs and behaviors and still frequent the shelter’s cat room whenever I have time after working with the dogs.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

I had to drop them off without a meet and greet because I was only in town for one day. The first day they stay with someone new, they usually don’t eat. I am always available for pet sitting, I work from home and I am more likely available for the weekdays and weekends to pet sit. I have a big yard that my two dogs love to run around in. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. About: I have taken care of friends and family pets over the course of this year some long-term and some short term. Frequent dog park visits and timely feedings. I can accommodate all types of diets, raw kibble, and specialty foods. I currently work full-time however I have a rotating schedule so I can often pet sit and drop in weekdays if needed and weekends. I am off in the mornings so drop and visits are easy for people who work 9 to 5 and just want their dog to have some extra time out or to just check in on the cats. There is an option of having your pet here in my space all to themselves or with my personal pets. I have different options of sleeping accommodations for your pet cage, cot and cushioned. Though I do not have a fenced in yard, I have a dog park in my complex as well as a dog park 4 minutes away by car. I can accommodate all diets, including raw diet.

About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I've only pet sit a little, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. As well as, making sure the animals have enough food / water and keeping their home as clean as possible.
About: For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter with my mother. I completed my senior internship there and now volunteer on my own. In my time at the shelter, I’ve gained lots of dog walking experience, especially with young puppies. I’m familiar with shelter training techniques and with cleaning and sanitation. I have two dogs of my own, one of which is a difficult walker. I know how most types of dog harnesses work. My internship involved spending time in the cat room, during which time I worked with cats of all temperaments. I don’t currently work in an official capacity and don’t play any sports, so I’m free pretty much all the time aside from my volunteer work. I’m used to animals with a wide range of play styles. I have a dog that loves to play fetch and go for swims, and I live near a large trail system, so I’m most familiar with those forms of enrichment. I have a minivan and can drive dogs to dog parks, trails, and fields.

I especially appreciate that Ryan limits the number of dogs he boards at one time to a very small group, & makes sure they vibe well together beforehand. The living space Ryan and his boarders occupy is all on one level, which is great for my dog with arthritis. There is a wooded trail for walks adjoining the yard, and a guest bedroom if a dog needs some quiet alone time. I would HIGHLY recommend Ryan and I plan to use him again!”

About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. I’m currently a new grad, and currently looking to start my career while I work part-time. My schedule at this time is pretty open, so multiple times of the day are available! I have 3 friendly terriers that are excited to meet your pup if that’s preferred. I am able to take your pup on walks at their favorite trail/park or in their home space! I can crate your dog if needed, or get them set up with food, water, whatever they need until you’re home!
