“Dee is a wonderful sitter for my kitty! She lets me know key details of how the visits go, and is patient with my girl who may or may not be in a social mood. Dee is also very flexible with last minute bookings and her care is much appreciated!”

“Julia is a superb pet sitter. We were travelling out of the country leaving behind our 3 highly pampered cats, the eldest of which is 18 years old. She took beautiful care of them, twice a day, and kept us posted with updates and pictures. She cleaned up after them, brushed them, changed the litter and food, and got rid of the garbage just as I had instructed. The house smelled fresh and was clean when we got back. I could not ask for a better pet sitter. Her care made our vacation much more relaxed. The cats were happy too.”

“Pam was amazing. Let me start by saying she won over one of my cats that never likes anyone. Pam provided daily pictures and notes, great communication. She made so many efforts to make my cats feel comfortable. Once I got home it was nice to see my cats acted like they didn't miss me. Other times when others have watched my cats upon me coming home they would look frightened. This time they looked at me like oh you're back, that's the greatest feeling coming back from vacation and feeling guilty for leaving them behind. I highly recommend Pam and will definitely be rebooking for the future.”

“Patrícia was great! It was our first time having a rover sitter in our new house so our cat was a little scared but Patrícia handled it well. We absolutely trust her with our pet and property! Thanks!”

“Mia is lovely and personable. She has much experience with cats, dogs, raising chickens, etc.! She dropped in to feed and play with our cat, Seamus. He was relaxed when we returned home from our trip. Mia left Seamus's accoutrement clean and very organized! We've already booked her for another drop-in week this summer. :)”

“Natalia did a great job looking after my cats. They are shy but she did a good job finding them in their hiding spots, and she did a good job communicating with us while we were away.”

“This is our second time booking Alex. She is always responsive, responsible and the kitties love her. She takes time and plays with them and was even willing to help with my little finch. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Alexandra did an amazing job with our two kitties while we went on vacation. They were loved and well cared for, and she played a LOT with them! We definitely would recommend her!”

“Cassidy took great care of our cat Coco while we were on vacation. She is super responsive, very helpful and flexible. We had a few unexpected things that happened in our apartment while we were away and Cassidy was so helpful and managed all that for us, alleviating a lot of stress from us. We were able to enjoy the vacation and the cat was happy !”

“John did a great job taking care of our pets. He was responsive, easy to talk to and genuinely cared for our crew of 2 cats and an energetic dog. We will utilize his services again soon.”

“Annabel did a great job for my 2 cats while I was away for a week. She sent great pictures and even cleaned up when they got into a treat bag one day. Highly recommend!”

“Samantha provided drop in visits for our 3 cats while we were away on vacation. She was super friendly, reliable and an excellent communicator. She was also accommodating to our specific requests and we were able to relax knowing that our cats and house were in amazing hands while we were away. We will not hesitate to book Samantha again in the future.”

“Marta was absolutely wonderful with my three cats during my trip! She gave me daily updates and photos that put my mind at ease, and I could tell they were comfortable and well cared for. She made sure they were fed on schedule, kept their area tidy, and gave them plenty of love and attention. Even my shy one warmed up to her, which says a lot. I came home to happy, relaxed cats thanks to her care. I would definitely book Marta again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! 🐾”

About: Over thirty years of cat companionship, and not a single one of my cats arrived by my own design. The Cat Distribution System has excellent taste. My current household includes two cats: Gretchen and Ice. Gretchen came to me as a tiny feral kitten I pulled from under an abandoned car. She went on to live a full and varied life — including a stint as a working mouser on a goat farm — and has now retired into a life of quiet domesticity, which she has fully earned. Ice is a chonker with tummy trouble who would simply rather not. We love him against his wishes. I can handle all the usual care — feeding, litter boxes, playtime, cuddles if your cat is into that. I'm also comfortable giving pills and injections, which not everyone can say. And after three decades of cat companionship, I know cat behavior well enough to tell the difference between a cat just being a cat and a cat who actually needs a vet. That distinction matters, and I won't miss it. Your cat will be in good hands. Even if they pretend not to care.

“Hanaya was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish she was incredibly communicative…keeping me updated and completely at ease while I was away. It is always a bit stressful leaving your pets home but I felt entirely confident having her look after them. She treated my fur babies with so much kindness and care truly treating them as if they were her own. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend her!”

“Irene has made my experience using Rover so easy and carefree. This is my first time leaving my dog, and she is extremely confident with her handling. I enjoy the pictures and updates she sends me throughout the day too!”

“Anner came through for me! If it wasn’t for him I’d have to call out of work. I had a change of schedule which messed up my puppy’s schedule. I downloaded this app with hopes of someone responding back to me quickly and Anner did just that. Everything was so professionally done. Top tier communication. I was able to receive photos and videos during the day. I was so happy. Book Anner you won’t be disappointed”

“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
About: I have been caring for and grooming dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, and I am comfortable with both dogs and cats. I am always available for pet sitting, I work from home and I am more likely available for the weekdays and weekends to pet sit. I have a big yard that my two dogs love to run around in. My dogs are friendly and can keep your dogs company if you want and if not I can separate the dogs and they won’t have to interact with each otherr, and I have crates if needed.
“Andrea is the absolute best, I am so happy I found her. My dog did not do well in traditional daycare but loves staying with Andrea. She takes care of my pup as if she were her own.”
“Judy was so kind, detail oriented, and trustworthy with my senior chihuahua. I left Milly with Judy for the day while I attended a conference. Judy provided routine photos and updates. I could tell Milly was clearly well taken care of when I picked her up - no anxiety”

“Gwynne is amazing! We just started using her a few weeks ago and every time my dog Lola goes to stay at Gwynne’s she is excited and has a great time. I definitely recommend Gwynne, she’s the only dog sitter we use ☺️”

“Hannah took very good care of my dog including interactive play and buying her new toys. Hannah was very responsive to my texts. Last but not least she is very personable and definitely shows her love for dogs. I have already rebooked for a few more days.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and various other pets my whole adult life. I believe trust is the most important thing when it comes to leaving your pets with a sitter and I can assure you I will treat your pets like I would my own, with love and respect. Your dog will be staying in a family style boarding situation, where they get the love and attention from myself, my husband and our 2 children (7 and 10) who adore helping out with all the pups. We have a large fenced in back yard for lots of supervised running, playing and sniffing! I am trained in obedience training and can provide puppy socialization. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a meeting! Boarding is always available. I am available weekdays after 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for walks, drop ins, puppy socialization or obedience training. I am fully available on the weekends for boarding, walking, drop-ins, puppy socialization and obedience training. I have 3 extremely friendly small dogs for your fur baby to play with or relax with. I strive to make the dogs that stay here comfortable and as stress free as possible.

I’ve also worked professionally as a dog walker and sitter through WAG while living in NYC, which gave me experience handling many different breeds, temperaments, and routines. I was a dog owner myself and cared for my own dog until he passed, which deepened my understanding of how important patience, consistency, and genuine care are when it comes to pets. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, medication schedules, or calm companionship. I treat every dog like my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to be very flexible and available for pet care throughout the day. I can easily accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as longer stays when needed. Because I’m home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and consistency, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I’m attentive to behavior and environment, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets feel calm and safe at all times. I treat every home and pet with respect, care, and responsibility.

“We are so grateful to have found Joseph. Our mini poodle is quite skittish around people other than family, and Joseph showed great patience and understanding with her, allowing her to get comfortable on her own timeline. Now when he arrives, our dog is thrilled to see him and comes home from walks happy and relaxed. We also appreciate Joseph's dependability and reliability; we trust him completely.”

About: 🐾 Hi, I’m Campbell! 🐾 I know how important it is to find someone who cares for your pets the way you do. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping them company while you’re away, I bring patience, reliability, and plenty of love to every visit. I’ve worked with pets of all sizes and personalities, and I pride myself on making sure tails wag, paws stay happy, and owners feel at ease. Think of me as your pet’s new best friend (with a pocket full of treats). Right now I’m lucky enough to have a very flexible schedule, which means pet care can be my top priority. I’m currently between jobs and excited to dedicate my time full-time to caring for pets. Whether it’s weekday walks, weekend drop-ins, or last-minute needs, I have the availability (and energy!) to give your pets the attention they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my first priority. When I’m in your home, I follow your routines closely so your pet feels secure — from feeding times to favorite toys and walking routes. I always double-check leashes, doors, and gates to keep them safe, and I’ll send plenty of updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind while keeping your pet happy, loved, and cared for. My home is a safe, pet-friendly space where your furry family member will feel welcome. I make sure they have a cozy, comfortable environment and lots of love and attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, and snuggles are all part of the routine, and I keep their feeding and care schedule consistent with what they’re used to at home. I treat every pet like my own, so you can relax knowing they’re in a safe, loving environment. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 social and lovable dogs that they will become instant besties with and can keep each other company!
About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, including pit bulls, golden retrievers, poodles, senior dogs, and tabby cats. I’ve also cared for pets with medication and dietary needs, including both oral and injectable medications. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a long walk, plenty of play and attention, sticking closely to their feeding routine, or simply giving a nervous or senior pet some extra patience, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I’ll keep you updated with how your pet is doing and treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I currently work evening shifts at my family’s restaurant in Darien, so I’m generally available for pet care during the mornings and afternoons, as well as some evenings. My work schedule does not interfere with housesitting, and I’m able to provide attentive care throughout the day and overnight. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m happy to work around my evening schedule and coordinate times that work best for you and your pet. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.
About: Our pets are a very special part of our families. They each have their own quirks and personalities, and they all bring so much love and joy to our lives. I will meet your pet’s needs, and spend time with them in the way they like the most. I have been a dog walker and pet care provider for 17 years now, and I still love my job! Each pet that I meet makes me smile. I like to think that I am able to give some of the happiness these animals bring to me, back to them. Over my 17 years of being a pet care provider, I have had experience with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages -from puppies to seniors. I am fully insured. I am willing to work with your pup on basic training, or put them in my car, for a short drive to a favorite walking area. If you need me to feed your dog or cat, please let me know. I can also spend time playing or cuddling with your dog or cat. When I am not enjoying the company of pets, I am drawing or painting pet portraits for commissions. I look forward to meeting your special pet. I will give them the activity, affection, and attention that is right for them. I am dependable, professional and most of all, caring. You can count on me to take good care of your pet, and you can feel confident, knowing that your pet is in exceptional hands, when you are not able to take care of them yourself. I have been walking dogs and taking care of pets during the day for 17 years now, and I spend my evenings drawing and painting pets for commissions as a pet portrait artist. It’s all about the animals with me! I would love to come to your home and walk your dog in your neighborhood, or perhaps drive them to a close by favorite walking area. Some dogs have invisible fence collars, and need to be driven off the property, or they live on busy streets, that are not safe streets to walk on. I can drive them to a quiet side street or a park, if you prefer. You can request a feeding, if you would like, and I could do a quick scan of the house for any unexpected accidents, and clean them up for you. I can do drop-in visit (15 minutes), or a full 30 minute walk or play in the yard. More time can be requested, if necessary. For cat care, I can clean the litter boxes, feed your cat/refresh their water, and play or cuddle with them. I can also take a quick scan of the house for messes for them also.

“First time boarding with Randi and it was an incredibly smooth experience. Randi is extremely flexible and was a life saver for when we were away on a multi city driving trip. We were watching the weather in case we needed to abandon our plans and come back home mid trip. Randi was extremely flexible and accommodating and I am so grateful for that. Our dog is a picky eater and is also on some tricky meds…and Randi kept in touch with regular updates. She persevered with attempts to get her to eat both food and meds, until our dog did finally start to eat! Our dog came home happy and healthy! We will definitely board with Randi again!”

She ate well, played well, slept well while under the care of John and we will definitely be using him again in the future!”
