***Please, I only take Labs/Golden Retriever's that are Neutered/Spayed***

*** I need at least a week’s notice in advance and recommend a meet and greet before bookings***

Having care for various breeds, ages & sizes of dogs for the past 4 years, I realize that dogs bring lots of love and smiles to anyone, whether being a family or a single person!!! Dogs are family members too!!

They're very loving and bring fun just from their own character :)

My 2 teenage (20 & 19) daughters have always wanted to have a dog from a young age and so, I decided to host dogs in my home. My younger daughter also attended an AgriScience FFA (Future Farmers of America), program/curriculum at high school and would like to pursue a career in vet care.

We are a family of 4, my retired mom, my 2 teenage daughters and myself. We find by having a dog, it livens up the house and our family. We enjoy the different ages and stages of various breeds of dogs for the last 4 years of dog sitting. We have a closed in fenced back yard for them to run around and play while being safe at the same time. Depending on the routine by the owner, we keep to those instructions and at the same time have the dog in a cage free environment. I try to keep no more than 5 - 6 dogs(depending on season) at a time due to the size of my home and for the sake of attention/safety/social skills for the dog.

We would like to provide a safe & loving experience while you're on vacation or need a night out or have a meeting in the city!

At the same time, we enjoy to see your dog having a happy experience that will have them coming back again!!

HOME FULL TIME * BIG FENCED-IN YARDCove-East Side, Stamford, CT

I love to spend time outside and hang out with the dogs. I have a large fenced in yard on a quiet dead end street in the Cove/Shippan area of Stamford. My street is a great place for walking the dogs with a private access beach at the end.

I am retired and spent my most of my career in the hospitality business.

I have had my own dogs in the past and enjoy their company. I am available most days and weekends.

I have a lot of indoor space for dogs and have different areas to accommodate your dog's needs.

I take care of my daughters dogs when she is away. She has a black lab named Abbey and a pomeranian named Luisa. They have great personalities and make me laugh. I am the ultimate dog lover and look forward to meeting your dog!

Your dog's new favorite place 2 go!New Canaan, CT

I have 3 children who are grown and living on their own. People know me as an animal owner/lover/communicator since always. I've been an owner/breeder since '96 of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. While I gravitate to larger dogs, I love all breeds -mutts too. I'm who friends and family come to for advice and help with training issues etc, so I'm opening myself up to doing this beyond my circle of friends. I'm available to take your dog on hikes for fun and to train basics. I welcome puppies.

My clients like:

that I am with the dogs at all times;

that I love them as my own including them in everything we do from gardening to cooking, to hiking and road trips;

that I instill basic training - sit, stay, come, and leash walking;

that the dogs have freedom to go in and outside throughout the day;

that my yard is fully physically fenced for spacious off-leash fun;

that I have a covered porch

that I provide photos, videos and updates at least 3 times during the day and am easily reachable and respond to texts quickly; that I take them on fun outings;

that I only take 4 or 5 dogs at a time;

that their dogs show that they enjoy coming here;

that I'm an enthusiastic photographer and provide plentiful photos;

that I have training experience and dogs naturally trust me

that I establish boundaries for their dogs;

that I clean up poop when it happens throughout my yard.

Why I love dog sitting

I've gravitated to animals always. I have a fascination with other languages - I learned to speak Italian and French and I think being drawn to understanding animals is consistent with that fascination. I grew up next door to a dairy farm so had many animals around always: 10 cats, 2 dogs (a Lab, and a St. Bernard who then had pups), a horse, gerbils, a turtle, a chameleon...and next door there were 95 dairy cows and many barn cats.

Meet my pets

1 Rhodesian Ridgeback female (90 lbs) DOB 5-25-14

1 Catahoula mix rescue; female puppy; spayed (45 lbs) DOB 1-25-15

The french bulldog is my daughter’s and is rarely with me.

I have a "dog car" a Suburban with the back seat removed and dog beds laid out. Dogs are always allowed to get wet or sandy on our outings with no priority about the vehicle getting dirty or messy. I have a car seat for dogs 18 lbs and under and encourage you to bring one if you've a small dog too. It's great because it securely lifts them up to be able to see out the window.

About my yard

I have front, back and side yards with cut lawn and ample room for them to run, chase and dash around. There is both shade and sun, and a covered wraparound porch. The property is physically fenced and there is a manually closing gate across the driveway. I keep a fenced area sectioned off to which the dogs have access at all times. I open that into the rest of the yard when I close the driveway gate making the full yard their enclosure. I have a separate building in back that the dogs enjoy running around and weaving through the trees playing chase. There is a small wooded area where they can explore a bit too. In the summer I put out a baby pool and fill it with the hose for some water fun. In the winter snow, I dig trenches through the yard giving them a maze of dashing, chasing fun (and me a workout).

I pick up poops when they happen.

"Loving Care When You're Not There"Somers, NY

I just started pet sitting and already have a number of clients. I grew up with always having dogs around me. I am a very competent, trustworthy, responsible person who loves dogs! No need to worry about them getting exercise, enough love & affection! I have my own business from home in which I manage to and have adequate time also to care for dogs. My own business is called "Dog Dynasty." I live in a beautiful area in Heritage Hills of Westchester by myself with no other children or animals. I would love the opportunity of meeting & caring for your special animal. I even offer my customers a special "Dynasty Rewards Program" of which I would love to tell you all about.

About this sitter:

I am extremely goal oriented, outgoing, love people, animals, nature, love the outdoors. I am passionate about so many things. I love life! Animals are a big part of my life. I also have my own tree service. I wear many hats with this particular job! I am very detail oriented, disciplined, very conscientious, dependable etc... I will be eventually moving to a house in Somers with a lot more room and a huge yard also in a lovely small community not far from my existing location. I am still working on completing this home. I will announce that location as I get closer to moving.

Why I love dog sitting

I have been a dog lover my whole life. I have had poodles,

beagles, & collies, not to mention a whole assortment of other kinds of pets from birds to bunnies to everything else under the sun. Dogs are very dear & special to me. They are like little children to me. I just love being with them!

Meet my pets

I do not have any other pets at this time however, I did have shelties prior to me becoming a pet sitter. I miss them very much & loved them more than anything in the whole world! I live in a very spacious condo in a stunning area of Westchester. Clients have come to my condo to meet & greet me & have always commented on my place being lovely. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 baths, 1 small kitchen, living-dinning area. It is a perfect place for your dog to stay! Although the condos are fairly close in proximity it is very private & quite. They sleep in my room with me either in my bed or in their own bed provided by their owner. I have been extremely fortunate that all of the dogs that have stayed with me have been well behaved & have their routine. I am a scheduled person myself & do very well with dogs that are too.

About my yard

I live in a condo complex which is very large. I live right across from a golf coarse with many hills & lots of land. A great place to walk your animal & explore!

My experience administering medication

yes, as per directed with no problem. I like for clients to be very clear about what they want so there is no misunderstanding.

Safe, Comfy Place for Your DogNorwalk, CT

Hello! Looking for a safe and comfy place to leave your dog while you're away? Well, look no further! I have the benefit of working from home, so I can be there for your dog — all day long. We can have play time in the fenced in backyard, walks in the neighborhood or in the large rec room inside, if the weather is bad. My dog is social, friendly, with medium energy and would love to meet your dog. I've had dogs (and cats) all my life. I have experience in dog training and behavior rehabilitation through my work with my own dogs and through my volunteer work at the local animal shelter, PAWS. I've worked with senior dogs and able to give meds. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration.

Note: I typically have one guest dog but during peak times like summer and holidays I may take four guest dogs; a total of 5.

Why I love dog sitting

About my yard

Yes I have a back yard that is gated and fenced. The area is great for playing catch and chase. Also, a large, gated deck for hanging out to enjoy the weather.
