About: Hi there! My name is Kat, and I have a deep, well-rounded background in animal care. With 3+ years of hands-on experience in animal rescue and 10 years of personal pet sitting (and 22+ years of animal-loving!), I bring calm expertise, safety awareness, and specialized care that goes far beyond standard pet sitting. I'm also a certified Wilderness First Responder and American Red Cross CPR Certified. Rescue Training: My time in animal rescue taught me to read subtle animal body language, prevent stressful situations, and keep pets safe and relaxed in any environment, while also serving as a friend and comfort to animals in need! Medication Administration: I have experience giving oral, topical, and routine medications to a wide variety of animals, ranging from kittens to senior dogs. Experience in All Sizes & Energy Levels: From toy breeds to giant dogs, I understand how to handle different temperaments and physical needs. I love taking high-energy dogs on extensive, engaging walks (especially on our local hiking trails!) to keep them physically exercised and mentally happy. I am a full-time student supporting myself while working toward my paralegal certification. I take my courses online from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Monday-Thursday), so I am available for in-house sitting, drop-in visits, or whatever your pet may need! Since I offer only In-House Sitting, Drop-In Visits, and walk services, your pets will receive 1-on-1 attention without leaving the comfort of their familiar surroundings. My priority is maintaining their daily routine while keeping your home secure and your pets safe. With every visit, I will provide consistent photo updates and detailed reports after each drop-in/day! Flexible, personalized pet care (drop-ins & sitting): Regardless of whether it's a quick 30-minute stop-in for food, meds, play, and potty breaks, or an overnight stay, I adapt entirely to your pet’s individual needs and routine. I strive to keep homes tidy, secure, and maintained, reducing travel stress for everyone and helping pets feel their best! Outdoor Safety: During walks and outdoor breaks, safety is paramount- I practice attentive situational awareness and strive to maintain large distances from any off-leash dogs, as well as ensuring your pet is safely and securely harnessed/leashed. Overall Safety Precautions: From my rescue experience, animals are curious!- In this, I ensure all doors, gates, and deadbolts are latched securely during every entry and exit, double-check that food and medications are sealed out of reach, as well as keeping a watchful eye out for subtle changes in pet health or behavior. Home Maintenance/Overall Peace of Mind: During house sits and drop-ins, I am happy to bring in mail, water plants, keep your living spaces spotless, or help with any other tasks.

About: I've had three dogs in my life. One turned 17 this year. She's a happy old lady but does require some medications that I have learned to administer and I make sure they are given on time and properly. I enjoy taking my pups on long walks on nice days. Aside from my personal dogs I have spent time house and dog sitting for two other people with various different dog types with different personalities. For one of these people, she is also a dog sitter and I assisted her in one emergency situation where she needed needed me to stay the weekend and care for the five dogs in her care plus her two minor children. I work full time with set hours Monday - Friday. I'm free weekends. Early morning walks are easily done but afternoon walks are after 4. Depending on location, how close a location is to my job, I do have a 30min lunch where I can run out and give a quick walk. For my personal dog I tend to do a good long walk in the morning and another good long walk after 4 to make up for the long day. I've never worried about bathroom accidents with her. I love dogs. That's just a fact. I protect them anyway I can. I have gone out to look for neighborhood lost dogs, I have seen paw prints, but no shoe prints, in the snow during a snow storm and I went out searching for what I was sure was a lost escaped dog. Before leaving my house, I do a scan to make sure there's nothing dangerous out that my dog could access, hanging cords, small items, loose treats, etc... to make sure she's always safe.

About: I have had a dog since I was in the 5th grade and have helped raise it since. Within the past 2 years, I took her to college with me for a month each year and had the best time with her. My former college roommate also got a puppy sophomore year (I lived with her sophomore-senior year), so I have helped raise him, and also watch/take care of him when my roommate is busy. My neighbors have also relied on me to take care of their dog when they are away. I really want to get more professional experience in handling dogs more so I'm able to work at dog and animal shelters/places! I am currently attending graduate school in Fairfield, but will be living at home in Ridgefield for the duration of the program (2+ years). This semester (Fall 2026), my schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00-7:30 PM.Those are my only time constraints and am completely free otherwise! In my home, I treat my pet like she's my child/baby and make sure that all of her needs are met always. I will do the same for my client's pets, as well as making sure the home is treated with the utmost respect. I truly love animals and would be happy to care for any dog.

About: I bring attentive, knowledgeable care tailored to your specific creature and their specific personality. I've been pet parent to dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes to my current Sheepadoodle — there's no dog size or personality that's too much or too little, IMHO. And my experience extends well beyond dogs — cats, snakes, farm animals 🐐, and more. I also happen to share my home with a ball python named Fettuccine Alfredo 🐍, who is a distinguished, low-drama fellow. As a plant parent, I will watch after yours indoor jungles, outdoor gardens, that one fiddle leaf fig you're nervous about. If you need someone who will actually look at your monstera and not just splash water in its general direction, that's me. (My avocado tree, grown from a pit, is thriving. I'm not taking questions.) Housesitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, basic training — I've got you. And if you're going away and need the whole ecosystem looked after, pets, plants, and all, I'd love to meet you. Pet care fits naturally into the rhythm of my week. My mornings are consistently free, which works well for walks and drop-in visits, and I have flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends for longer stays or housesitting. On days when I'm teaching in the afternoons and evenings, I'm still available in the mornings — and I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I'm never stretched too thin across clients. This isn't something I'm squeezing in around a packed schedule — it's something I've made genuine room for. When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. That means following your routines exactly as you've set them, keeping things tidy, and making sure your pets are comfortable and unstressed in their own environment. I take detailed notes at meet-and-greets so nothing gets missed while you're away. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.

About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats my whole life! I’ve been a pet sitter to my family members and friends for the past decade and love animals. My job and travel schedule does not allow me to have my own dog full time but I would love to have the opportunity to take care of yours :) I’m very responsible and caring to pets and humans!! I work full time but work from home Thursday/Friday and of course am free on weekends! I can re-arrange my WFH schedule to best suit your dogs needs. When I work from home I typically have very few if any meetings, instead I go on walks or runs and enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting ☺️) I have a fenced in terrace that is 25 x 20 ft for any dogs to enjoy at their leisure when I pet sit! I am very responsible and vigilant as a sitter. My primary concern are the pets I’m sitting and will be very consistent with that mindset for the duration of their stay.
